This might be a good weekend for some rest and recovery.

If everyone is available, I expect a close game, if not, could be unpleasant!

Colgate is 1-5 (the 2 games vs Bucknell were postponed). Massey has Holy Cross as a 3 point favorite over Colgate (67-64). This will be an interesting weekend. for the women. I hope we have all hands on deck. Isn't Colgate still playing Army? I don't think Army's women's team had any covid issues

Yeah, the HC website is clear enough on that. No women's games this weekend.

It appears they are still playing Army. HC/BU has been postponed, but no replacement has been listed for the women. Sorry, the error is mine. Good news, gives the banged up an opportunity to get better.

In simpler times perhaps one game on Saturday or Sunday could be arranged with any number of teams within 90 minutes that have the weekend off, but I doubt any administrators want to risk getting any other team's cooties now.

Good news, gives the banged up an opportunity to get better. Yes and additional practice time for the many newcomers and previously seldom used to be coached up. Very nice to discover Flaherty's shooting touch. With the five seniors last year she was buried deep on the bench but obviously was still working hard on her game.

Kerry's older brother, Rory '20, was a walk-on on the men's team his freshman year. Sat next to his and Kerry's father, Richard, when we had courtside seats at the Hart. Nice family but if memory serves, Dad indicated that the younger daughter (Kerry) was the better basketball player. Very happy to see Kerry having some greater success on the court.

Last season I wondered if Kerry was a walk-on. This year there is no reason to think that and the numbers never indicated she wasn't a scholarship player.

PC hasn't played since Jan 9th and returning to play on Feb 3rd so in normal times that might have worked! What a mess the entire hockey and hoops seasons have been throughout the country.

NESCAC issued a statement yesterday stating that it doesn't look good for spring sports either. Final decision next month.
