Well, the high and mighty presidents of the Ancient Eight have declared outdoor spring sports too dangerous and cancelled spring sports - those student athletes must really be po'd - I guess that means that the PL and other leagues are guilty of risking the lives of their athletes by letting them compete with reasonable precautions.

Most of the Ivies don't have enough students on campus to compete.

The ‘not enough students’ issue is of their own making - another example of doing it their way and don’t tell them how other schools are bringing students back - who says the fall will be any different?

The Ivy League did NOT cancel athletics. They canceled hosting conference championships so schools are welcome on their own to play their own schedules if the want.

Well, it may not be science and it may hurt kids but it certainly is a grand gesture to bag the playing of College outdoor sports at the Ivies in the Spring. So there's that.
