People often forget that Brennan attended Worcester Academy following high school. Obviously, a sad turn of events for Brennan and his family, but an often forgotten fact about his career. Brennan was close friends with a lot of former HC football alums that also attended the prep school.

Also, if my memory serves me correctly, David Ball (UNH) was a WR on the Worcester Academy team that Brennan played on. Ball broke most of the NCAA FCS receiving records during his career.

I think you are correct on David Ball. A friend of mine and teammate coached at Worcester Academy during Brennan/Ball's time there.

Brennan was close friends with a lot of former HC football alums that also attended the prep school. I created a thread on this in the "general sports discussion". Rory Glowik '09, who played nose for us at HC, was his center at Worcester Academy. Very sad news. You probably know a couple other guys that played with him there. I remember all the hype surrounding the TD record and Hawaii going to the mainland for the Sugar Bowl against Georgia that year. Brennan was sort of a comeback story, having gotten kicked out of the University of Colorado for something either drinking or fighting related.
