One thing of note...home dressing rooms might be nicer, but I have played at The Gut at UVM, Matthews at NU and Alfond (Maine) and the inner tunnels and visiting/club locker rooms are older and cramped. I am sure they have seem some updates in the last 12 years, but they are older buildings (especially with Matthews--my Dad played there for Boston State). Our workout and overall athletic facilities beat out a number of hockey east schools.

Matthews is still a dump underneath and Maine visiting teams still walk down stairs IIRC.

Our workout and overall athletic facilities beat out a number of hockey east schools. I didn't play beyond pond hockey. But I attended games at Boston Arena (now Mathews Arena) in the 60’s. It was the darkest, dankest pit I ever watched any game in and I am duly impressed with how NU has renovated it and replaced the 15 watt light bulbs.

Unrelated but I give BU credit for renovating Walter Brown when the women became primary users. The men play a throwback game there every year now while students are on break. Atmosphere reasons I guess. I have played at WB since some of the renovations and it isn't bad underneath. Certainly better than most munis and other rinks used for adult hockey.

The "Golden Greek" Harry Agganis put BU on the national map. BU has duly honored him with the impressive Agganis Arena (capacity 6300 for hockey and 7200 for BB, concerts, conventions) but dropped the two sports he put BU on the map for, Football and Baseball.

"Tiny" may be one of the kindest things you have said about Holy Cross or a Crusader in recent years. Running out of insuits? I think I will simply hold off making observations about his playing ability until I actually see him play.

He is also 16 years old and won't be a freshman until 25-26 season so it is doubtful that his verbal will end up being true. www.eliteprospects.com/player/679632/patrick-fortune

Pretty bold of Foley to be commenting on HC recruiting after his swing and a miss on McLinskey --

Can't wait for your next thread of wisdom Foles -- where would HC be without you?

You're on a roll Foles -- this time not only showing us losers on this Forum how wrong we all are, but also Hall of Famer Steve Yzerman (current GM) in Detroit. How did the search firm miss you when hiring Kit?

I very rarely post on crossports. But I cannot hold back on what a complete IDIOT you are. You bash every little comment like you know what you are talking about. You know absolutely nothing when it comes to recruiting. Have a little faith that Coach Riga knows what he is doing. When I see 82 next to your name, I pray you are not an Alum. If you are, you are a complete embarrassment.
DROP DEAD you moron!!

Going to a development camp doesn't mean much...plenty of guys go to those camps and don't get anything more than a amateur tryout in the AHL The Red Wings brought in 33 players for developmental camp including 11 picks from this years draft and their first rounders from 2021 and 2022. If every team brings in 33 guys, that is close to 1k players in developmental camp. There is only 1,123 active NHL players right now.

He went to UNH, makes a living taking sports photos in the northeast and swings by here looking for creative ways to criticize anything and anyone connected to HC athletics.

Thanks for the updates, BB. Winkler is interesting. I don't remember too many MJHL guys coming down. There are always a lot of AJHL and BCHL guys (and a lot of New England players heading out west to play there), but I can't remember many MJHL guys. Radomsky is the only one that comes to mind. Goalie pipeline?
