There is no evidence Coach Nick Rolovichich is spreading the virus. But he must be giving his AD and University President heartburn. This article reminded me of the helicopter flight Kobe Bryant and his daughter took to get to some kind of youth basketball event that is supplemental to school leagues. It's too bad the system of high school basketball and a local summer league being sufficient exposure for college recruiting has gone the way of the buckboard wagon. Perhaps the current system does give some kids focus and keeps them out of trouble but it's turned into a huge industry that doesn't seem as egalitarian/affordable as high school sports.

These sneaker tournaments are big time, big money events with long term implications for the players, the colleges that are connected to the sneaker contracts, and even the NBA for some.
