Looks like Merrimack woke up. Down 22-20 at half to Maine. They are winning up and down the stat sheet except for those 2 turnovers to start the game.

We will have to play a lot better to win this game. Yale will adjust. We are going to have to make throws and catches. Create at least 1 and probably 2 turnovers to keep it close late in the 4th. As usual, Yale’s O-line is the most talented group on the field between both teams. Our O has to help out our D and put some drives together and run some clock. We can win but have to play near flawless. Also, can’t blow coverages and give them easy TDs. At least make them earn it with a great route, pass and catch.

I’m not watching the game but Maine’s very talented QB (Fagnano, 2nd team all- CAA last year) is out this game due to injury. Redshirt frosh started instead. Wouldn’t be shocked to see a Merrimack win.

The Bible according to TB12 says get a 3rd and three pass out of your hands post haste.

Reno burns a second half TO, in a one score game. A little Chesney close game magic, please.

What a pass by Marco and catch by Frosh Shorter! Great to see him recover after two mental penalties…Can we at least get Sluka in there for the 1st and goal at the one and just put him under center? His legs are so strong I think he can sneak for a yard!

Nope, let’s keep Matt out. Even the Yale announcers are stunned

Not rocket science…maybe could have done that on 1st down?

Sluka is now a RB. Let’s move on and keep moving ball down field. Finally they made adjustment. Well done!

You have to know your own player's situational strengths and weaknesses.

HC 17 / Yale 14 (3rd Q) Princeton 29 / Lehigh 0 (3rd Q) Harvard 30 / Georgetown 9 (3rd Q) UNH 12 / Lafayette 7 (3rd Q) William&Mary 21 / Colgate 0 (2nd Q) I think it’s fair to say Lafayette’s Defense is something HC and Fordham are going to have to contend with. This is three good performances in a row. With literally zero help from their offense.
