The game will be an enormous opportunity to generate additional revenues for football and the school. A year from now, a similar homecoming game will be an opportunity to raise money for HOOPS as well-- gosh, I hate to give up a second in my life, but I am so looking forward to the future of Holy Cross Athletics with Chesney and a new face or two leading us forward-- GO HOLY CROSS!!

That Yale game..... ->Home Opener ->Should Be Great Weather ->Later Start For Longer Tailgating ->Local Guy Tony Reno Brings the Elis To Town Pure Fire! Is it September Yet? Let's Go! They'll be motivated, too. Yale has more money than God, but I wonder if they will bus up that day to save a few sheckles? I hope our domination of CT. teams (UConn, Yale, ShU) continues from 2021 into 2022 but the Bulldogs won't roll over for us.

Tom Gilmore took over a very broken program, with the Dan Allen tragedy playing a significant role in that. He deserves a lot of credit for bringing football back from the edge; had things continued so badly we might not have a football program of any type.
If basketball keeps going the way it's been going, the new coach in the near future will inherit a similar mess.

No problem still daylight savings time. Also gives 2 extra hours of sleep time for all those who were served too many libations the night before celebrating Homecoming. Sunset is 6:53 that day. Another case of Foley digging really deep to get his shots in today. Not really digging that deep since the Men's Lacrosse final four had a three hour and 37 minute halftime in May. Just remember I said it if it happens.

When NAD nods at me, I always nod back. Anything else would be a sign of disrespect and I ain’t in the business of disrespecting NAD.

If the Yale game was set for 3PM, I'd say that was rolling the dice a little. Allowing 5 hours for a college football game is sufficient, even w/overtime adding 30-45 minutes to a game.
Might as well go into full jinx mode, I don't think a HC home game has ever been delayed by weather. Moved, yes (BC in 71).

I’ll be at the Yale game for homecoming..first game at Fitton since the UMASS night game. Can’t wait! Been to several away games (BC, SDSU) but crazy it’s been this long since I’ve seen a game at HC.

If one excludes Harvard, not many good Ivy visiting crowds at Fitton. I think I'm on pretty safe ground saying that.
Too bad the Dartmouth series seems to be over, I'll miss the games up there a heck of a lot more than the home games.

I would love to cycle off Harvard or Yale for a couple years if Princeton, or to a lesser extent Penn, could come aboard to mix things up a bit
