FWIW, I believe The QB job next year is Peter's to lose and Geoff knows that. He has gotten experience this year that he would not have otherwise gotten and I am betting he understands that.

I'm sure he would say that, yes. Any good leader and teammate defers personal glory in favor of what's best for the team. Look guys, unless anyone else with additional first hand experience in this domain cares to weigh in, I'm afraid I'm spending a bit too much arguing this:)

More importantly, it doesn't matter what any of us think but I am glad Peter is coming back.

Methinks if CTG gets canned Peter may reconsider. I suspect he has been given assurance from CTG he is #1 going in, otherwise why come back.

rgs c'mon do I really have to spend time contrasting and comparing high school and D1 college football? Maybe someone else would like to expound succinctly but it would take me about 9 pages. Tim go back and read my post again. I was referencing team morale prior to Dan Allen's arrival, certainly not during the tragic and confusing years that marked the end of his time with us. oooh, yeah, misread that. A comment about Coach Vaas and not Coach Allen, for sure.

Yes morale was not exactly peaking before Dan Allen arrived.
