Sadly, I doubt we will hear anything from our HC about this or our team's future. IMHO, such a statement could be helpful in the midst of this turmoil.

Alums? Who besides Torey (whom I hold in very high regard) has said this? Well, that's alum/former player Jared Curry re-tweeting Torey's comments... So, no one else? Retweeting without comment could mean a wide variety of things.

I can't imagine Bill Doran and RP the younger aren't aware of what a dumpstah fiah has broken out.

He made a critical comment. It's already in this thread. But if you want to assert that those two don't speak for others, go ahead.

What if the shame belongs to ADs who are 1000, 1500 and 2000 miles away working for higher pay at higher level (athleticly) institutions or an aquarium. Should they really feel shame or did they each do their best?

But if you want to assert that those two don't speak for others, go ahead. Every basketball alum has to be disappointed, but not everyone has the appetite to call out the school publicly. Kit would be smart to set up a zoom conference to give the BB alums a chance to vent and to pick up some good ideas from them.

I’d be good with Torey as the next coach. Risky but I’d be fine with the risk. Lots of upside.

I like the guy who has Holy Cross experience, has been a head coach for the last twelve years at three different schools, has made all of them instantly better, and owns the best W-L% in each of their histories.

Pretty obvious from watching the video, that our current guards are missing quickness and intensity of TT.
Needless to say, they also have lacked the ability to finish their shots.

Not only that, but was very comfortable engaging with Alumni. Certainly would be a bridge builder. Hope this time Kit does not make the mistake and have the short sightness of FADDR.

But our jersies fit a lot better nowadays! (yes, I know that's what players of that era preferred).

It’s incredibly humiliating for the school, program, and Brett Nelson when alums of the program are absolutely crushing the team they once played for.
It’s official — the program is lost. Everyone knows it. Time for Kit to make the move.

15 years ago Look at the fans in the stands..... More HC fans on the road at BU in the video than show up for games at the Hart today. Sad.

There might have been more HC fans at BU in 2022 as well, considering how difficult TPTB made it to go see their team that needed all the support it could muster.

As long as Pitino stays at Iona(realize it probably will not be long) it will be hard for St.Peter’s to win the MAAC Not as hard as we thought apparently.

As much as I thought we should've given Nelson the chance to coach out his last year, his retention simply can no longer be justified after this mutiny. Time to part ways.

There really is no decision. Is there anything that the coach has done to give one hope? Just one thing! Has he recruited well? His players don’t graduate. I need to understand?
