I’m not sure but in my working knowledge , snappers aren’t given full scholarship money.

Might a SEC long-snapper also be a blocker or TE in the PL ?

All I’m gonna say is massively important weekend on the Hill….next weekend 27/28th as well but the outcome of this weekend will dictate a lot about the final one.

Do we know where the group for visits this weekend stands on the board and how many of our top recruits are planning a visit for next weekend?
Since next weekend is the final weekend, it might offer us some interesting options - for example, if those recruits were waiting for a certain FBS option that didn't materialize and we become their final visit and they have a positive experience.

Could you provide a little recap about just how the recruit's weekend goes? Is it meals at Kimball with current players, overnight with a host player, academic counseling, meeting with position coach, final meeting with Coach Chesney??? Of course I know there's some flexibility, but I wanted to get a better understanding of what goes on if possible

Of course I know there's some flexibility, but I wanted to get a better understanding of what goes on if possible I think what you reference is a pretty accurate and good summary. I know that Friday night typically includes an informal reception for parents and players in the Luth, after which the recruits usually depart with their host players for the night while the parents usually spend some time socializing locally with the coaches. Saturday usually involves a tour of the campus and some photo shoots for the recruits in HC gear. Saturday evening usually involves recruits and players doing activities locally and then spending the night with their hosts and other players. Parents are treated to a tour of Worcester followed by a sit-down dinner with the coaches at a local restaurant. Sunday morning is a final meeting with coaches before departing.

Are there many football players currently on campus ? Does not break end Monday ? I believe certain players are asked to serve as hosts and they are granted permission to return to campus earlier than the rest of the student body.

Top of the DB board…several.

Nice dusting of snow this afternoon to greet them on Mt. St. James. Just enough to paint a postcard picture for selfies.

With the transfer portal and the extra Covid year, there will be hundreds of talented high school players in all sports without a legitimate home in 2023

Good news indeed! The coach knows both who we want and what position players we need to accomplish our long term goals.

Great move by the young man. Great get for HC. He is true student- athlete who is on his way up. His enthusiasm has made me enthusiastic, too. GoCrossGo.
