I see Crocetti as a SS (Terrell Prince type) in a 4-2-5 defense which I expect us to play more going forward (for reasons I won’t get into now) However, when if/when we do play a 3-3-5, he could very well play the Liam Anderson hybrid LB (pre Dobbs injury) where he could line up anywhere on the field (Edge rush, in the box, or in coverage)

You need 2 on a roster but usually the 2nd is a reserve LB or OL. I guess no one on the current squad has the confidence of Ches and Canan and their ST expectations.

No record of receiving an offer from Holy Cross, so I will list him as Offeree # 167.

Carlo is a very intriguing prospect. I love the optionality. I’m frankly shocked only Yale and Brown were on him and not Harvard and Dartmouth. Plus the northern CAAs? I Figured UNH, URI and Maine at least.

By my count we have at least 3 more spots. 2 DBs and 1 DE. I would argue a serious CB is by far the most important. Will we fill those 3 this weekend is anyone’s guess. |
