6'3" / 218 lbs noted in the article makes more sense for someone who wants to play LB - Also it is unsurprising that he said HC's facilities blew him away and exceeded any pre-conceptions As I've said many times here and worth repeating 'Thank you, Mr. Luth' - Anyone who still has not seen our facility should make a point to get to campus this fall and take a look

He can ball. Offensive version of Dansdill. Could play multiple positions on each side of the ball for us. Will play early. I think the only thing that prevented him from getting some lower tier Big 10 or ACC offers (Syracuse, Indiana type) is the quality of his HS competition is not as high as others. Hence him destroying people all over the place. Still a top get so far for this 2023 HC class.

A review of our newest commit's Twitter account (https://twitter.com/DippreLacota/with_replies) indicates he was offered by the following schools:
Kent State Bowling Green Dartmouth Brown LIU New Hampshire Air Force Army Albany Stony Brook North Carolina A&T Colgate Fordham Lehigh Monmouth St. Francis/PA
. . . and he's coming to The Cross.
Great day to be a Crusader!!

Older brother was also outstanding (and a nice discus thrower BTW) in high school and plays for Maryland . IMHO this level of recruit widens our separation from the rest of the PL. A very good thing.

I don't think it's necessarily a good thing - my hope is that our success will create added pressure on the rest of the league to keep up with us - it's not a healthy situation when you look at our schedule and the toughest 3 or 4 games every year are ooc opponents - The league must improve its overall record vs. ooc opponents

Let the rest of the PL catch up with us. I'm not sure the PL teams are really committed to a strong football conference. For that matter the PL is weak as a conference as a whole in my opinion. If your comfortable with the academic piece then fine but our football program is being organized to dominate the PL and to eventually play for a National Championship down in Frisco Texas.

Our goal is not to win the (weak) PL. Of course, in a perfect world, we’d be atop a very powerful (top to bottom) football league. Don’t see most of the PL football teams heading in that direction - quite the contrary.

Right now I'd put this class up against anyone nationally. We all know it means nothing on paper, but the level of recruits in the first 14 I'd put up against anyone. And they really aren't close to done. As I've stated in the past I expect this class to be in the range of 25 players, but in actuality it's probably more than that. Probably closer to 28 - so right now they are only half way home.

I, too, disagree. Consider the Duffner years (1986-91) when we sported a PL record of 25-1 and an overall record of 60-5-1. The national polls consistently had us in the upper echelon of 1AA teams, and if I'm recalling correctly, we sat at #1 at the end of one regular season. Our OOC losses were to BC, and to Army (3x). With appropriate FBS and larger FCS schools scheduled in the coming years, I believe that we're on the right path toward the ultimate goal - a season finale in Frisco, TX.

Hopefully we look back some years from now and say HCBC's staff compares well with the Carter & Duff staffs. Novak, Sherman, Coyle, Rossley & of course Duff himself all went on to lengthy careers in the NFL. Dan Allen was New England coach of the year @ BU prior to his return to Worcester.....and I am guessing there are some I am not remembering. I'm still jacked up thinking about Liam Anderson's 40 time, 4.4 handle WOW

Coach Allen was: FCA Coach of the Year (1993) Eddie Robinson Award (1993 ) Yankee Conference Coach of the Year (1993) Greater Boston Coach of the Year (1993) 2× New England Coach of the Year (1993, 2000) en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Allen_(American_football)To this day, I feel badly at his lost and how his career ended. He deserved a better outcome for his life.

He's listed as a Tight End. Same position his taller brother (a QB and other positions in HS) plays at Maryland.

On top of the great coaches.

It's seems to be a great class so far but I don't want to disrespect the rest of the league. I haven't followed their recruiting beyond offers to our recruits. They could be doing better than anyone knows and competitive with us. I think Dippre was all-state at TE and DE. It is entertaining in those highlights to see him knocking guys over or arm swatting them without altering his path. Bigger, better players in 2023.

And NAD the hoops program is one move away from being able to move in the same direction--- we are much closer than it appears yet so far away because we can't get the extra burden removed.
