Jen Toland Congratulations on an article that fits the man. You have put Togo’s work effort to perfection.

I believe at the time HC women's basketball was a part time job and Togo's full time job was running the Hart Center. I might not be 100% accurate on this, but I believe HC made him step down to focus on his primary position.
Sadly the primary position didn't really suit him and of course the next coach was full time.

Safari I am still in Ireland. Guess that is the problem. Do not know what a VPN is. Thanks. Safari could be the cause, as IIRC you had trouble opening a WaPo article as well. I use Safari and it worked fine for me.

Togo's Funeral Mass was held at 10:00am Saturday morning at Blessed Sacrament Church in Worcester. It was a very fitting and well done service with Fr. Markey and George Blaney speaking. For those who could not be there, here is the link to the service.... You can fast forward to the 12:00 minute mark for the start of the service which runs for about 1 hour and 15 minutes... Make sure you click on "previous broadcasts", then the appropriate link for the mass on Saturday morning.... player2.streamspot.com/?playerId=578e4cbf

It was great to have Father Markey who met Togo's mother and played for Buster Sheary share memories of the young Togo. Mrs. Palazzi's reference to having money in his pocket at Duke and the Blue Devils not requiring remedial math work spoke well of Holy Cross and not so well of Duke. George Blaney was filled with genuine emotion and love for Togo.

Sad to see under the circumstances, but nevertheless nice to see George Blaney.

It was Togo’s retired jersey banner, which was, along with the others hanging in the Hart Center, unceremoniously taken down from the rafters a number of years ago. Only because an employee of the contractor doing the work happened to be a friend of Vincent Palazzi was Togo’s banner rescued.
