This sounds like a great idea. Group Experiences Thank you for choosing Holy Cross Athletics for your group outing! If you would like to speak to a ticket office representative and receive more information, you can fill out a Ticket Information Request Form now! A member of our ticket office will reach out as soon as possible.
Group benefits include: Our lowest ticket pricing. Guaranteed seats with your group. Group recognition by our own public address announcer. To check availability and book your group experience, call the Holy Cross Ticket Office at 1-844-GOCROSS or e-mail tickets@holycross.edu.
I did this for my boys years ago at the high school level. They loved it and started rooting for the team that hosted them. It did influence some on the high school they later chose to attend. I wonder if it could do something similar in creating future HC?

I used to get FREE group tickets from Boston College for any Women's Basketball game we wanted.

You may not have noticed, but (1) this is not Boston College and (2) do you really believe you count as a "group?" One difference now is that this is a clear plan that is reaching out - not sitting back and waiting to be called by folks from "outside." It is part of an overall program to "fill every seat" in coming seasons.

Some may have missed this because they don't have people in this young age bracket but looks like a good deal to start getting Crusader fans at a young age (12 and under). Some here have kids that age, more probably have grandkids who are eligible:

I remember that provision of 12 and under from the NCAA. [Get them loyal while they are young and you can have them behind you forever.]

Yes, 12 and under is very specific. It indicated that age 12 was so as not to be in violation of NCAA recruiting rules. I know when I was doing IVC volunteer work for Community Prep in Providence that I was able to get tickets to raffle off only because the school's kids were young enough (not that they would be winning the raffle). If I was working at a high school - no dice. And yet now we can have semi-professionals playing, right?

The group experience has been offered forever. In the 80s I sponsored a group outing for 15-20 customers on a Saturday. We had one of the small meeting rooms in Hogan for coffee and pastry, then a presentation then a catered lunch by HC dining services and then down to Fitton for an HC-Colgate FB game.
It wasn't a big draw for customers but I filled up the spaces with relatives who loved the free food and football game.
Another more recent group outing was at the HC-UNH game or another early season Fitton game when I observed the Bedford, MA Veterans Hospital patients in wheelchairs streaming in with huge smiles on their faces on a picture perfect early fall afternoon. That gave me a good feeling.

To have a Notre Dame alum be as strong a supporter of Crusader athletics (football, anyway) as you are is a testament to your great father. I dub you an honorary Crusader but sorry that you still come in second place to NAD. And, sorry that I can't tap your shoulders and head with the ceremonial Crusader sword as they took that away when they banned the Crusader mascot and logo.
