I've been extraordinarily busy at work this summer and I've let it go for a while as several threads started directly connected to HC alumni (Clarence Thomas & Anthony Fauci).
And in many cases, just as I was at the threshold of deleting a thread it would go quite for a couple of weeks only to be revived.
This board functions much better without that type of partisanship here. To paraphrase what I think sader1970 asked recently in one of the threads ... is anyone's mind going to be changed here. The answer of course is no.
So going forward, I will again delete any posts I deem political - even veiled political posts ... since discussion is not occurring, simply a litany of "yeah but what about ..."
If Holy Cross implements a new COVID requirement that is OK, But if you posted with here's the data to support or denigrate the decision or a comment about the wisdom of the decision, it will be deleted.
If a Holy Cross alum wins an election, becomes a judge, or is appointed to a political position, post the news and offer congratulations. Commentary about their positions, their ideology, their spouses positions, etc. will be deleted.
Several of you have proven time and again to be incapable of restraining yourself. If you can't, I will. And that includes the sports threads.
Summer is ending, and sports are beginning. Let's get back to what this board is supposed to be, discussion about Holy Cross Sports and Holy Cross news.
