Both starting RG this week for Miami-OH and Duke respectively. Brian listed as “OR” so he and the grand transfer from Colorado still fighting it out into the season. I wish we listed our two deeps with “OR” in certain positions where PT is likely to be split ~50/50 which is the case in a couple positions heading into Week 1.

Speaks volumes for the offensive line that Chesney, Smith, and S&C coach Grautski have developed at HC. Awesome stuff for Brekke and Foley. Didn't Notre Dame come in later and try to scoop up Foley? Am I remembering that correctly?
Not to get too far off topic, but the HC line is going to physically dominate a bunch of front sevens this season.

Foley already has a masters degree from Duke. His athletic ability and smarts have served him well

So Brian had a covid year and a medical red shirt year? I like it. Two years of graduate school at Duke is fabulous after graduating from HC.

OL might be the deepest position on the team. Newman, Schon, Olsofka, MacAuley, MacAuley, McNair, McMurtie, Daddona, Smith, Hanson, Metzger - damn.

Does this stand for "former head coach Tom Chesney?" If typo and should be Tom Gilmore, I'm more than fine with that. I always considered him a friend. Still do. In time, Bob Chesney might ascend to that lofty position. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) I like them both personally but, for now, I know TG better and longer. But when his team plays Holy Cross, I hope they lose and TG wouldn't want me to think any differently.

It's a credit to Chesney he oversaw a smooth transition and helped these players get the most out of their college football experience.
Coach Gilmore was all class in his separation also.

Coach Gilmore was truly a wonderful representative of our storied great college. I wish this fine man nothing but the best. However, TBT, Coach Chesney is a fabulous representative of HC and a great coach as well. I've seen fire. I've seen rain but I doubt if I'll ever see another Coach Chesney again. GoCrossGo.

(And definitely not a bare cupboard on the football side of the house through the last coaching transition, IMHO) Go Cross Go!! Beat Merrimack!!!

Sorry I didn't give a H/T to FHCTG in my post, who I hold in very high regard. He recruited some great kids, as seen with three who were in NFL camps this summer and others who have done well at other FBS programs. A shame he couldn't put it all together, but very glad HCBC has.
