The PL named Tim DeMorat offensive player of the week again. He's won it each week this season. I suppose his numbers are hard with which to argue.
But, let me tell you, I'm absolutely irate of a Fordham guy being named defensive player of the week after giving up 45 points at home to a now 0-3 Albany team.
James Conway, a linebacker, had 15 tackles and one sack. How many times did Albany's running backs and receivers also run by him for big gains?
Jacob Dobbs had 14 tackles, one of which was a 15 yard TFL. Yale scored 14 points, one of which was a garbage time TD.
I'm sure the players will tell you that they don't care much about individual awards, but this is egregious and just terrible. I'm ticked off.

Amen, brother. There’s no way that Fordham LB should have gotten the award. This nonsense should end

One game at a time, on to Colgate...but...we are all looking at Harvard and Fordham as our biggest tests this year. If our D can matchup and stop DeMorat (I am sure we won't shut them out, but something reasonably respectable) and handily take Fordham, I am sure the tone will change with respect to PL POW and ranking 3-0 teams who have beat cupcakes/tomato cans (who admittedly had decent teams in previous years). That's what I tell my players. Basically go out there and dominate and beat them on the scoreboard. Sends a great message. Maybe the PL wants to appear to have multiple "powerhouse" teams in Fordham and Holy Cross. It's like loosing a game by a couple TD's and saying "we're really close. We executed our gameplan but got out coached and have to make the big plays, etc, etc."

There is only one award that should matter - the PL championship trophy. The rest is pretty irrelevant stuff.

HC is not going to get a fair shake with these awards. It all started with the PL Championship Game BS and where it was played and not allowing HC fans to attend. This will only add to the focus this team has in controlling their destiny by winning each game in convincing fashion. We are blessed to have an incredible group of players, coaches, staff and administrators be "all in" for Holy Cross. Fun times! GoCrossGo!

Couldn’t really care less about the awards. Fordham’s games are like video games with no defense being played by anyone, which lends itself to DeMorat, a great player, putting up ridiculous stats. Does seem a little crazy to give a Fordham defender any kind of award while giving up almost 50 points but whatever. The result on 10/29 is all that matters to anyone here or our friends from Rose Hill.

Also, Fordham’s top receiver also has ridiculous numbers. Something like 32 catches for 400+ yards and 4 TDs in 3 games.

4 touchdowns?! That is impressive. I wish HC could have a receiver who averaged over 100 yards a game and has scored 4 touchdowns in only 3 games. Wait, we do, those are Coker's numbers. Sorry about that.
Yes the Rams do have a solid passing combination in DeMorat and Kokosioulis who are an effective passing duo. They have yet to face a team as strong as Holy Cross, so we will see who has better numbers in that game.
