Demorat schools a safety for a long TD pass. 48-38 Fordham. I keep misreading the scores. Fordham is ahead and it's only the end of the third quarter. 🤕

Good Fordham crowd in Ohio. If they roll into Fitton undefeated there will be a ton of NY accents in the Woo. HC 87 will need an interpreter.

Fordham looks like they will lose their game in part due to their coach getting a penalty for throwing his headphones down and complaining to ref. Would have been an uphill battle but they needed to get close enough for a FG.
Rams down 53-52 with 5 seconds left

If Colgate QB could throw a decent pass down field we would have been in trouble. Secondary has some things to clean up. Fordham will be a big challenge for sure.

Would have been an uphill battle but they needed to get close enough for a FG. Rams down 53-52 with 5 seconds left Joe Conlon let down the whole PL by not being disciplined on the sidelines. The league would have announced itself on the FCS stage with two undefeated teams and two FBS victories. All they needed was to complete two or three passes underneath with Ohio guarding the deep ball and then a FG.

I felt like our CB's were getting beat clean in the first half. Some of our issue in the 2nd quarter might have been the pass threat spreading our LB and DL out and Brescia running some more. Good news is Brown beat Bryant last week and then nearly completed the comeback against Harvard today. So...more afraid of the Fordham offense than the Johnnies.

Fordham should have closed out the game before the coach meltdown. Had the ball in great field position with 3 minutes to go, up 6. Blew it with holding penalties

What was he thinking?! While it was no sure thing, this was a game of all offense and very little defense as witness the 59-52 final score. With DeMorat they had a decent chance to ghet to FG range and win, it was bad enough they got a penalty but still would have had a decent shot but add on another penalty to that and it was the proverbial bridge too far even for DeMorat. Last play was a mid-range completed pass and then attempts to lateral to the goal line. No luck. Bobcats picked off a fumble and ran in for the final TD with no time on the clock so instead of losing 53-52, tack on 6 more Bocat points.
So, PL lost every OOC game this week. Some, pretty close . . . . . but no cigar.

I wonder if Laffy's D will give us trouble. They did a nice job limiting Penn, who handled Colgate last week. Lehigh seems to have had a decent showing against Princeton

Lehigh seems to have had a decent showing against Princeton The Lehigh game wasn't as close as the score. Tied at the half but Princeton outplayed them by a large margin in the second half. Penn is at best the 4th best team in the IL.

Really hope Dobbs is okay. We did okay against Colgate without him but Harvard would be tough without him.

Could anyone tell by the lousy broadcast what his injury was or how it happened? My recollection was it was on the far sideline but before anything of substance discussed they said something like a Crusader was injured (who?) and literally between words they cut to a commercial; came back and said Jake was injured (nothing about type or extent of injury) and nothing more about it the whole rest of the game. He was never back into the game but seen in huddles standing (good sign) and holding his helmet.
I suspect & hope the injury is minor in nature as we'll need him against Harvard.
