Gates best NBA prospect ? Well, I love him and do not know enough about who, if any, are the other contenders, but Gerrale’s strong college game does not translate to the current NBA. Charles Barkley or Adrian Dantley would have tough sledding today,

Newcomer of the year? I hope 18 year old freshmen won't have to compete with 22 year old transfers for this award. The older players had a shot at ROY when they started.

However it is not an award given by the patriot league at the end of the season. They only give an award for the best freshman.

However, with the amount of portal activity, a new award for the most impactful transfer in to the PL has merit. I would try to sell the sponsorship to Amtrack or Greyhound Bus or Mayflower Moving and Storage.

The comparison of Batch to CLS is pretty far fetched. Anyone who thought the latter was going to be a "great" D1 shooter was a true fan. Batchelder is seen as one of the best 5 players on the team along with Gates and Octave so if you think Bo and Kenney are the other two it's no choice IMO. Tse is a true PG but he he needs to prove he's a good PG. At least 2 guys that we're not expecting to be strong contributors need to be in addition for that to happen (or Batchelder has to have real trouble). We'll win very few games with the non-Octave/Gates/Batchelder guys maintaining their career numbers. I believe Bo will be the fourth to add to your core 3. As far as the fifth, I have no idea. My guess it's those 4 and Kenney. I was really making a point that for Tse to takeover as the regular PG, that it would require at least two "not previous difference makers" to to emerge to augment BOG and allow us to have a non-scoring PG. Regarding Kenney, I say that based on my view of his talent. I wouldn't be surprised to see Louth or another taller player start. I just don't think we can win offensively with Louth, Wilbar, Tse, Lewis taking up two spots on the floor. Bo is the closest to being a potential respectable scorer but with Kenney it's a scary small lineup.

That 5th spot may rotate depending on matchups, or who is playing well, either in practice or games
