Announcer picking Fordham against us so we’re pretty much guaranteed to win.

Even great teams occasionally have a nail-biter against a weak opponent. Today was ours

I can’t think of a win feeling so much like a loss like it does today. Luckiest win in years. I hope the team got the s**t scared out of them.
They lost the week and still managed to win… somehow. But they did not deserve it.

Look their return entry today into the QB position gave them quickness and created a few problems for our defense
DeMorat is not quick

We’ll, they won’t be overly cocky heading into next week’s game, that’s for sure. This type of game may be just the thing to reignite the fire. Lesson learned while winning. Think positive.

HC lost a lot of these nail biters under CTG so maybe the tide is turning slowly.

The week off did not help, IMO.
Got to hope this gets them focused for next week,
Getting that touchdown on 4th down when you need to make a play is a sign of a good team.

Exactly! Chesney has said that the loss to Merrimack last season was the catalyst for the rest of that season’s success.

What is up with Dobbs? Is he still injured?

Take 3 knees out of respect for LU. More strategic also. The unexpected is much less possible with taking a knee than with going for a TD.

What is up with Dobbs? Is he still injured? Was just about to post the same question. Never see any comments on this. Definitely needed him today vs the run, and will for Fordham.

Take 3 knees out of respect for LU. Not a respect issue at all Why put the ball in play when it is not necessary ? Fumble is always possible.

Syracuse very nearly upended @ Clemson today. Dabo pulled his starting QB in the third quarter.
Woeful performance by the offense today. Seven first downs. Three for 14 on third down.

I believe that we were out-coached and out played on offense and defense. It should not be difficult to think that Fordham will try to copy Lafayette’s plan. Fordham probably does not have the defensive personnel of Laffy, but their offense is certainly far superior to Laffy’s
