Interesting that as the top opponent HC would draw below average attendance on a beautiful Homecoming day. Especially when you consider how many of the attendees were from HC.

guys, even when you see attendance announced in the 2-4000 range at many PL games, I would venture to say that less than half those figures are 'paying customers' - PL (and in general FCS football) does not draw in the northeast and that's a shame because most games are reasonably decent entertainment when you consider the measly ticket prices. Just the sad state of affairs in today's world That being said, HC can be the exception to the rule and I'm very interested if attendance for Saturday's game will exceed the Yale game - extended forecast is favorable

The detail below is from the "official" stats (the Drive Chart) from Saturday's game.
HC takes possession, after Lafayette quickly scores to open the second half,: with 13:26 to play in Q3. According to the data, we ran the ball three times and then punted, but no time came of the clock. My guess would be that this is merely sloppy recording by the game staff, but the ensuing Lafayette possession shows TOP of 8:24, and HC getting the ball back at 5:02 left in the quarter. Doc Brown's space/time continuum at work in Easton???
Holy Cross at 13:26 1st and 10 at HC25 HOLY CROSS drive start at 13:26. 1st and 10 at HC25 Sluka, Matthew rush for 5 yards to the HC30 (White, Saiku). 2nd and 5 at HC30 Fuller, Jordan rush for 1 yard to the HC31 (Cross, Semaj;Stevens, Jyaire). 3rd and 4 at HC31 Sluka, Matthew sacked for loss of 12 yards to the HC19 (Forney, Preston), QB hurry by Olivas, Marco. 4th and 16 at HC19 Haughney, Patri punt 52 yards to the LAF29, fair catch by Curtis, Jamar. Total 3 plays, -6 yardsTime of Possession: 0:00
Lafayette at 13:26

There was another play that the ball carrier was clearly in bounds and the clock was stopped. Our favorite announcers noticed it but then went on another rant.

Cristos clearly made a solo tackle after a completed pass as the tackle was made right in front of a ground sideline camera and yet on the game stat sheet, unless it’s been corrected since shows nothing for him.
