Is this our first pre-season all-PL since... Dudz?

I wonder if we will see GG attempting more 3s this season. His .286 % (4-14) is not promising, but his .749 free throw rate indicates he has the stroke to raise that. Our offense would ideally want him closer to the hoop on almost all possessions. But he most likely will have more than 14 attempts.

I'd like to see him hit 50% of his twos....

...and then see his fellow Crusaders out back the rebounds on any shots he misses,

I'd like to see him hit 50% of his twos.... Agree, but he rarely takes bad shots, and usually shoots over defenders 2-6 inches taller, which presents a real challenge. I will take his 43%, especially since he attempted 133 free throws, 26% of the team’s total. Of the returnees, Caleb is second with 43. Of these returnees only Caleb and Louth had higher.FG percentages, and both had far fewer attempts.

Is this our first pre-season all-PL since... Dudz? Gates last year, I think. Floyd? As pointed out above, (and also by crosspride) Gates, Floyd, and Miller were all pre-season first team picks since Dudzinski. The sad part is that none of those three lived up to pre season expectations and made the first team all league. They were all second team. I'd like to see that change this season

If Wilbar can play and be a threat on 3's, that might give GG a little more room down low. Haven't had a proven big man shooter since Faw.

We do not need GG shooting threes unless it is a desperation 3 as in end of shot clock.

Imagine a fifth Covid year for Miller. Unfortunately it would likely have been elsewhere as a grad transfer but it probably would be a darn good season based on his late bloomer progression.

I just noticed that Bucknell is picked to finish eighth.
Man, Nathan Davis has really torpedoed that program.

Reading the Bucknell board after the HC-Bucknell FB game, their die hards are most upset with college administration due to Davis still being there.

HC will reap the benefits of his motivation for post HC employment if he mastered a three point stroke during the off-season. A win-win arrangement.
