Based on the photos posted in the blog, Lauren Huber was not in game uniform against the Ireland National Team. Is she injured? To what extent? Will she be available for the beginning of the upcoming season? is the a second game scheduled in Ireland ? I don't know Huber's status but do others sense a trend to more overall durability? The current WBB Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coaches both have recent masters degrees in their field. They are current with the latest techniques.

Hopefully, what ever her issue is, it's not serious. That said, I don't think she is project to see a whole lot of court time this year, much like her first 2 years, despite some decent outings.

I see no reason why the school would not post a box score - I’d like to see them for each game played

The team had a typical day today in the west of Ireland- the magnificent Cliffs of Moher in County Clare in the mist and “fine soft”.( aka rain)

Will she be available for the beginning of the upcoming season? is the a second game scheduled in Ireland ? Based on an Instagram photo posted today, Huber was participating in their practice, so I guess she may have been a little under the weather for game 1. Game 2 looks to be in Galway, as of the moment, opponent unknown. Looking at a post by the Maree Basketball Center where they practiced today as well as held a clinic, it appears that they are going to play the National team again.

Lead whoever they are playing (I think Brunell) 17-12 after one.

At the half HC 38-36, BPC w/14. I believe the are playing Singleton SuperValu Brunell, which plays in the women's Super League. Former HC player Tricia Byrne played for Brunell. These teams are sort of semi-pro made up of college, HS & pro players (I think).

Tricia and one of the sisters from the Boston area (can't recall their last name) went over there for Masters degree/basketball playing/mentoring and European travel. That sounded like a great deal. Kind of like the fifth year Masters opportunity Avery had without having to live through a pandemic to get it.

Christine Ganser, who is finishing up at Tufts Medical School, Her sister Maddie also went (works for Deloitte) as did Amy Hasenauer (work in NY) IIRC

Final HC 84-66, BPC leads with 25 (7 3s). Wonder if Tricia Byrne attended as I think she still lives & works in Cork

She does not. She is back home with the parents in Pennsylvania temporarily working in the family business but looking to break into insurance sales in the NYC area. Her brother is an insurance producer and she is looking to follow his lead.
When she was in Ireland, she did play professionally but it was part time and had to have a day job. She got a masters out of her Irish experience.

Got her MS from Munster Tech U. I may be wrong, but the Irish Super League is mostly made up of partimers.

So the ladies are back and spending the last few weeks of summer with their families - did they play only two games in Ireland ? (I thought it was going to be three)

From the blog, it looks as if the only games were in Dublin and Cork. The stop in Galway was for a youth clinic and practice.

Looks like the ladies got to see many of the same sights as my Irish tour (C.I.E. Tours - highly recommended!). Now, let's see if they now all have the "gift of gab" having kissed the Blarney Stone. Until I did, I was a shy, introverted guy. Really, really happy for Bronagh Power-Cassidy.

He served on a submarine chaser ship in WW2 and went to Harvard on the GI Bill of Rights.
