Gentle reminder folks about board Rule # 7. Posting here and in another thread to ensure the reminder is received.
7. This is not a rumor board. While speculation is a fact of life on message boards, there is a fine line not to cross. Issues of academic standing, intra-team issues, or personal information unsuitable in a public forum concerning recruits, student-athletes, coaches, or staff are unwelcome and may be pulled without warning.
General Rule of thumb, if you can’t or don’t want to post how you came into the knowledge, even in a general way, and/or sign your real name to the post, you probably should not post it. Posting here is not the same as telling the person sitting next to you in the stands what you “know”/heard.
In the end, if you are unsure and have a question, ask offline first.
Does anyone know if you have to pay to park at UAlbany for the game?
Yes, and you'll have to park in the Dutch Quad lot. There is a shuttle bus to the arena if you need one. Because of traffic control it's best to enter the campus from Fuller Road, or from Washington Ave.off I-90 eastbound exit 2, and not from the Western Ave. entrance.
Also there's been a lot of fan grousing about upgraded "security" this year, recently they issued this "The University at Albany Athletic Department in cooperation with the University Police Department has issued a modification to their “Bag Policy” for fans attending basketball games at the SEFCU Arena. Beginning on Sunday, November 27, 2016, each GUEST is welcome to bring one BAG into SEFCU Arena provided that the bag is soft-sided (e.g., diaper bags or small purses) and its dimensions do not exceed 16 inches by 16 inches by 8 inches and are subject to a complete search by designated security agents. Refusal to allow a complete search of such items forfeits admittance for the GUEST and the BAG. UAlbany Athletics, University Police Department and designated Security Agents retain the right to refuse admittance of any guest, bag or prohibited item into University events.
If you have any questions please contact a UAlbany Athletics customer service representative at 518-442-DANE.
To me, ncaam's post says that his argument is doubly cheapened if both HC70 and ACTP agree with him. I'm not exonerating ncaam from the "He is HC70 camp," because I don't want to speculate and am not the board moderator. But this is pretty simple English that at least this poster/avatar is criticizing ACTP and 70.
