AU now 2-2 after an ugly, ugly win at NJIT Saturday, 58-53. Combined 7-26 on threes. NJIT legit only has one guy who can score, and we couldn't throw the ball in the ocean. Big three late from freshman guard Geoff Sprouse, who's got some potential. Bad basketball, but we'll take the W.

Other than Colgate the PL is not competitive basketball
Other than HC, Fordham and Colgate, the PL is not competitive football
We must find a new home asap

HC isnt going anywhere anytime soon unless the America East Conference makes a push for a football conference and comes hard after us and Merrimack for all sports.

We must or this success will be short lived my friends
If true, enjoy these moments
No reason to accept that assumption!!!!

I see no reason that our football success in the PL cannot continue, possibly unless Chesney leaves. In hoops Langel has proven that a terrific coach can be successful in and out of the PL. It can be done.

They took Loyola Chicago’s place They took 1/3 of their place anyway. The MVC added three schools - Belmont, Murray State, and UIC - when Loyola left for the A10 recently.

I don't think that AE Football is happening anytime soon.....but I'd still love to see Holy Cross in AE for hoops and other sports. The Patriot just doesn't seem like the right fit for you guys athletically. I think that the major problem is the lack of exposure in New England and NY.

We didn’t join the Patriot League with athletics in mind and to date, no one at HC has made a move to try to repair the tremendous damage done to our athletic program.

I certainly would choose AE over the MAAC, not the MAAC we left, but the MAAC that exists now.
We could replace the Turnpike Trophy with the Cousy-Russell (146) trophy.

That's the problem with most conferences these days - you need to take annual snapshots because membership changes so often.
