Another very good defensive performance. Shot 51% from the field, but have to admit, didn't feel that way. 2nd half, owned the boards 21/13.

Would be fun if we could win the regular season again and use our home court advantage more effectively than last year. A home PL title game at the Hart would be fun. Attendance would be mandatory for football which would help.

This was a great win. Colgate is the third best team in the league and I don't think there's competition for them in that spot....maybe Bucknell when they are healthy. Too bad the BU-HC matchups are so far down the road!!!

The more women's basketball I watch this year, the more the quality of play sticks out. It has gotten so bad this year. Terrible turnovers, no-one can shoot anymore, etc. This goes from high level D-1 down to D-3. |

Very nice road win - so many weapons on our roster
regarding Cross, we saw her crazy style at the end- she dribbles into trouble along the sideline and throws the ball out of bounds - then she draws a critical offensive foul which she has a nack for at important moments

Announcer made another joke that she passed it to the coach, but got me thinking that the coach was dressed in a shade very much like the team. In hoops you're often passing to the uniform color (not making excuses for the pass, it was also a good double-team by the defense)

For a sr guard captain it's inexcusable - I'm amazed at some posters not looking at certain bonehead plays objectively - can we agree she's had a nice career at HC but when she has the ball in her hands anything can happen ?

Let it go.. Just because no one agrees with calling someone out on a bad game you continually try to point out flaws from one game... If you know anything about basketball, you know the importance of limiting the opponents best player. A defensive stopper (which Cross certainly is) is typically not a prolific scorer. Someone who only looks at stats to evaluate performance might come to that conclusion. Be happy with the win and focus on what the team is doing. |

As well as the fore mentioned fundamentals that the women show a clear superiority to the men is the use of the left hand for left side finishes at the hoop.
At the end of today’s game, both Berger and BP-C at the key juncture, made lefty drives and lefty finishes.
So many men, not only at HC, but even at the power 6 level, use their right hands.
Last night at the very end of regulation of the Kansas-KansasState game, KSU’s best player, Keyontae Johnson(coming back after collapsing two years ago) was headed for the clinching basket after a steal on the left side. He shot with his right, hoping for a foul, missed and the game went to O
T.

I am really enjoying the Overall Play of the team this year. Coach M has a very young team playing at a level we could only dream 5 years ago.
Let”s not nit pick a bad pass here or an offensive foul there. It will be sorted out in film study, and hopefully not be repeated. We are almost halfway through league play, and the team has shown grit and resilience. Great to bounce back from the Vermont fiasco, but the team was having an off day following exams. Stuff happens. They have now won 7 straight, looking to see them finish league play with a better record than last year.
Rooting for them to complete the mission and return to the NCAA tournament with a decent seed and make some noise.

Too bad the BU-HC matchups are so far down the road!!! HC handled Colgate on the road and squeaked by Lehigh at home. Wouldn't count out those Engineers/Mountain Hawks/whichever-you-prefer. They can shoot the rock a hell of a lot better than CU, that's for sure. |

No one distinguished themselves in the backcourt today ball-handling-wise: Flanagan and Cross, 3 TOs apiece; McCormack 4. Maybe CU's pressure defense make them a formidable opponent? Has HC faced much of that this year? |
