Looks like HC picked up a verbal commit from this combo guard from WA. Playing at Loomis Chaffee. Can’t find much about other offers.

Loomis-Chaffee plays in NEPSAC Class A - not at a level with the big boys, but some decent competition.
No mention of Singleton on NERR.

Khalil has three things that IMO you cannot teach: size, quickness, and shooting ability.
Certainly looks like a quality add at the 2G.
None of the highlights I watched showed him on defense. So that is certainly an open question.

He looks like a major addition to the team - especially if he plays solid defense. I have seen him listed at 6'2" and also at 6'3" (looks like they are already applying the HC "elongetor."

Interesting skill set, and at this point with all of the uncertainties a decent pick up. While the film didn't show much of his distributing the ball or defense, I wonder if he is more of a throwback 2/3 with a 50’s pull up or runner (leg bent) in the lane

Based on all of the recent references to Scotland Campus in Singleton’s articles in Recruit The Bronx, it appears he is no longer at Loomis-Chaffee. He did make the NEPSAC Class A All Stars as did Joe Nugent, in ‘21-22. Scotland Campus is a prep school in PA.

By my math, this brings the scholarship count to 11 for next year with two available. Perhaps a really smart, very mobile, 6'11" wide body is out there looking for a good education

So that is certainly an open question. The kid can definitely go to the hoop and definitely can shoot when no one's guarding him (another way of me saying the opponent wasn't exactly digging in at the defensive end). Both plusses.

Pretty good shooting form? I like the moves to the basket, i.e. he is more than just a jump shooter.

Question
While he appears to be a good get in terms of skills and at a minimum adds another body for practice and playing time
But
How does he fit in with the style of play that currently exists on the roster Does he fill an immediate need Does he change the way we can play Can we be a better team with this addition
If we had a stable roster and the future of the head coach was not in question would he be the player we would sign.
The answer to each question could be positive, I am just asking the question since we have so many immediate needs on the roster along with the graduation of Gates - PG, Big, Scorers, quickness, defense, passing ability. and a few others

See Proctor, Jahaad.

Isn't he the "player" who seemed to wander from team to team? Why would you connect the two men?

Didn't come because of a coaching change. What happened to him afterwards is, of course, irrelevant.

only if you consider Holy Cross to Iona to High Point to Purdue wandering from team to team That would appear to me to be exactly what that is. Four different teams? His commitment seems only to be to himself.
