We all think Coach Magarity is great and she got her contract extension but you c as n’t deny the team has lost the ability to win games big time.

We all think Coach Magarity is great and she got her contract extension but you c as n’t deny the team has lost the ability to win games big time. At 18-8/10-5 we'd be heaping praise on Coach and team if they had struggled early and responded with an eight game winning streak in the stretch run to end up with the exact same record. Is it possible that the team is having it's struggle late but not too late? It's hard to criticize a winning team and coach for putting wins in the bank early in the season. Perhaps our talent is middle of the pack PL talent but HC was better prepared than other PL teams early in the season.

Turns 42 in a couple of weeks. Of the 10 patriot league head coaches, she has the most D1 head coaching experience by a wide margin.

Age is such a relative term. Heck, I thought Carmody was “young!” 😉

Great to see Vince and the administration fully support the program and recognize the team. Was not sure where to post the pictures of a celebration on Commencement Porch at Fenwick Hall, however decided to place them under the Coach Magarity thread as she has been responsible for the outstanding season.

What a fine job he has been doing ! I know you mean PVR when you say he has been doing a fine job, which he certainly has. The other male in these photos is assistant coach John McCray. Coach McCray works with the guards. He has helped BPC develop from the beginning, helped Avery develop into the POY, Addison Cross into a defensive specialist, Caitlin Flanagan into a steady freshman PG, Cara into competing at a high level from a low height of 5'3" and helped Simone Foreman have noticeable improvement over the course of her freshman year. He's an unheralded contributor to this championship season. Coaches Fitzpatrick and Fogarty work more with the bigs I believe, everyone deserves credit for this great season.

More evidence that PVR gets the student-athlete culture of HC. From day one he has supported the school's athletes with enthusiasm.

With PVR demonstrating interest in our athletes and their success, retention should remain high.
