Massey has BU as a 3 pt favorite, w/ HC having a 44% chance of winning. HC can clinch 2nd with a win or a Lehigh loss @ Army, which is favored by 5.

This is starting to remind me of the 2007-08 NFL season with the Terriers playing the role of the Patriots and the Crusaders playing the role of the Giants. If the story plays out the same way, we will lose a close, largely meaningless game to conclude the regular season. Then we will win an epic game for the PL title and ruin their perfect PL season.

"Straight Cash Homey!" That was the one season Tom Brady and Randy Moss were together and fully healthy in both of their primes and made magic together. Good analogy because HC-BU is another "Border War" and BU is undefeated in the league which isn't common.

BUs a great team, but I fear traveling to Bethlehem more than playing the championship game in Boston. The crowd at The Roof would be no worse than 40-60.

Of course, if Asante Samuel Sr. doesn't drop that interception and a few other things (Pats more than had their chances to wrap that one up, kudos to the NYG for not letting them), we're not having that conversation.

The Terrier Band would blow our few troubadours out the door. I wonder if BU has the most robust pep band in the PL or if the Service Academies do? Little need for a marching band at BU with no football.

I think for us, the basketball equivalent of the helmet catch is Navy going the length of the court with no timeouts with 1.4 secs left and giving up the 3pt at the buzzer in last year's playoff. If we turn the tables this year with a play like that, I picture BPC hitting an off balance 3pt for us against BU at the buzzer.

Maybe you’re saying the same thing but 1 plays 4 and 2 plays 3 in the semis, right? So we’d play BU in the title game if we both advance that far. Unless there’s a way we come in 4th.

An HC win tonight clinches 2nd place
...Or an Army win
...Or a Colgate win

Army game starts at 6, so we’ll know that result by our halftime (Colgate has a 7 pm start)

Yeah, I'm thinking that HC and Lehigh will end up 2nd and 3rd in some order; and, hopefully, HC will not repeat the disastah of 2022 and move on a round.

19-11 Lehigh, 8 to go in the half. Army does not look like a very good team.
(edit) 41-22 at the half. Scratching my head how Army completely dominated Holy Cross in the second half in Worcester.

Army mailing it in. The coach didn't even take a time-out when Lehigh made a huge run.

Simone hits one basket and she's "best offensive weapon". Announcers are very bad.
