Ouch. Massey 30 point prediction makes sense.
You get these massively one-sided games in the 1st round of the women’s tourney pretty frequently. (Some have suggested a smaller field)

Horrific quarter. Margarity should have called timeout to settle them once it was 7-0.
Need to cut down on mistakes when playing such a high seed. 10 turnovers in a quarter won’t cut it.
Hope the experience will help for next season.

The discrepancy in skill and athleticism between the Maryland level and the HC level is very, very wide.

Th only good that will come from this is MM will realize she really needs to uptick the OCC schedule to better prepare the kids.

This is not the men’s game. A 15 seed out of the PL has virtually no chance of beating a team like Maryland. It is what it is. Proud of the women for making it and hope they take some positives out of the experience.

The discrepancy in skill and athleticism between the Maryland level and the HC level is very, very wide. Much shallower pool of talent on the women's side, unfortunately. One reason thes lower seed games are so brutal to watch

It says ESPNNews. Oh well. No live stats either. There is a live stats link through the HC website, Newfie.

46-15. Maryland needs to drop back in a zone and accelerate their substitutions.

It's a BIG10 school, so the result will be as expected. It's an exciting experience for them.
Foreman.....I know things have not been going well in general but you can really see her athleticism. I think she has the same rise next season that Berger had this season.

If this was a mile run, we'd be lapped after 880 yards. Let's put on a finishing kick by shooting first and asking questions later. More shots, less passes in this unusual predicament.

There is no reason at all that Maryland should be pressing Agree based on the score. But they have to get their team ready also so I think anything goes in the first half for any team. If MD presses in the 2nd half, then that is not very sportsman-like. I doubt highly MD presses in the 2nd half unless we make a significant run and the coach wants her team's attention.

Last year the PL women’s champ lost by 35 in round 1. So this is not a surprise. I’d expect Maryland to empty the bench (and then some) and back down to a zone shortly. Can’t imagine they want to win by 50+.

There is no reason at all that Maryland should be pressing Disagree. If this is what they do and how they play, then -- for the first half -- they should play their game to be prepared for teams they'll face in later rounds. Sure, don't need to press in the 4th quarter.

BPC should have put up a three instead of the extra pass to Berger, imo. It's a matter of clock management as much as anything. The risk of giving Maryland more time on offense is meaningless now.
