Believe Phreek is correct as that is how it works for the 50th. As a possible explanation for my situation, perhaps my "dedicated" donations on the early day had to be manually inputted but the basketball donation on the day of had no such dedication. Let's just say, Holy Cross' computer system doesn't have cutting edge AI capabilities. If you designated a contribution for a specific sport, you should have immediately received an automated thank you acknowledgment from a student playing that sport. I believe this is the first year for student acknowledgements. Men's basketball was Gates, women's basketball was Cross. There may have been others.

I DID get the acknowledgment both automated and from staff. I KNOW they got my donations because I got those as well as receipts from the credit card company.
What is missing is the listings on the Give Campus site that lists donors names and sports and Class. Give Campus is the third party vendor used and the ones who total up the number of donors and dollars. That’s what I am referring to. I absolutely know HC got my money.
But, no, did not get a student response but not looking for that. It’d be nice but not necessary.

I decided that it was better to do a separate transaction for each designation, rather than one transaction split into multiple designations.

He's most appreciative . . . . . as he goes out the door.

Chu, I only gave to 4 sports and as posted previously, none of those donations were reflected in the Class or team totals. So, thought I'd go into the Class Agent portal and couldn't get in. Said my password was incorrect (it was not!). Had to change it but directions were opaque for what should be simple. Our Class liaison got to me and walked me through changing my password. It had on Give Campus my early 3 donations but not the one the day of.
I rechecked it minutes later and the 4th was there.
Staffer acknowledged the Give Campus system has issues. But, no, I didn't get a personalize athlete thank you but don't need it. Would be nice to have though.

I gave to 5 sports, and I have not heard from any students. I checked- there is a $5.00 minimum for the recognition note so you may want to consider concentrating on one sport next time 😝

Same here. I donated to 3 sports, and have not received a note.

Give it time, guys. The college kids today never learned cursive in school and it'll take a while for them to take a cram course. They'll be bringing in 90 year old nuns for the tutorials.

The important fact is they collected our investment in their future-- appreciation will be demonstrated by improving and winning games!

Strangely, my check has not yet cleared. Surely someone in the Development office checks the mailbox daily?
