The thing I liked about Batchelder last year was as the season progressed, so did his offensive game. At first, he was basically a 3 point shooter. As the season progressed, he added a mid-range game and by the latter part of the year, he was successfully taking the ball to the hoop.

With the freshmen guards most likely playing the point, Will probably play the 2 on offense, the shooting guard, a role his skills are better suited for. If so, on defense he would cover the opponent’s point guard.

Responding to trimster
Spot on. I think we can discern some interesting differences in Batch’s stats between OOC and PL games.
2 point shooting OOC 4.1 attempts per 40 minutes and .333 percentage PL 4.9 attempts and .449 percentage So he shot a little more and connected a lot more frequently
Free throws OOC= 0.6 FTA per 40 minutes, extremely low rate PL= 1.8 FTA a nice improvement but still very low
3 point shooting Of course, this is Batch’s greatest strength OOC= 6.6 attempts per 40 minutes and .317 shooting percentage PL= 8.5 attempts and world class .422 percentage So he shot more often and greatly improved his shooting percentage
I’m really looking forward to watching him this year

With the freshmen talent, his attempts may decrease. Let’s hope his percentage does not.

Wonder what “Bobby Mac” thinks of the support by HC as demonstrated above…🤣🤣
Highly doubtful for the day to see him supporting HC athletics at a basketball game.

I assume Bobby Mac has little thought about it, but would have no problem. Even if you accept the premise that the school was endorsing sinful activities, I don't think anyone would have an issue lending a helping hand to a bunch of at-risk kids.
Unlike his predecessor, the current bishop isn't big on being seen out and about in the community. Not sure you'd see him at a St Paul's basketball game, never mind a school not under his jurisdiction.

You can usually find him at a Providence College game. At least he was wearing a collar…

Believe they are referencing the bishop of Worcester who has had some small disagreements with both Holy Cross and the Nativity School - Robert McManus (who we exiled from RI )
