Article in the Athletic this morning. University of Nebraska played Omaha in volleyball yesterday. Attendance was 92,003. Three days of sales for the sell-out. Previous record for a women's sporting event was 91,648, FC Barcelona v. Wolfsburg, in 2022. Nebraska apparently sought to break the record: "The crowd, calculated by Nebraska as tickets sold for the event in addition to a head count of all team and event personnel — the marching band, media members and others." The stadium's capacity for football is 83,400.

Drop the "03" from the total and it's more than most volleyball programs have played in front of.

Watching paint dry is a better spectator sport than soccer--but that's just one man's opinion

Congratulations to the University of Nebraska for this. Forward thinking is always a good thing.
Love to see more of this at all levels.
