Over the years it has been one of the more detailed and complete documents/magazines on college hoops

All I remember is the STREET AND SMITH hoop preview. Clearly i am not, as was noted above, an aficionado.

Over the years it has been one of the more detailed and complete documents/magazines on college hoops Easily the most comprehensive and most useful CBB guide. No comparison between it and any of the magazines. On a scale of one to 10, the magazines might reach 2.5 while blue ribbon is probably a nine.

If anyone springs for a copy of the yearbook and wants to share some HC/PL info, would appreciate it.

I can give you the gist: New coach Dave Paulsen knows how to put together a winner in the PL but he’ll need to get a few recruiting classes under his belt before the Crusaders can return to their rightful place as a league power. Pick: 8th

That would be fine. Just want us to look like a competent D1 basketball team this year with some young guys who can develop into all-PL players down the road and lead us to the Promised Land.

The league might be down a bit this year
Call me crazy but if I bet and waged $100 I would put $10 on a 7th place finish $50 on a 6th place $40 on a 5th place or better
There is a big loss with Gates graduation, but imho this group will be better defensively, have more offensive options, be fundamentally sound, and have fun playing together

I can give you the gist: New coach Dave Paulsen knows how to put together a winner in the PL but he’ll need to get a few recruiting classes under his belt before the Crusaders can return to their rightful place as a league power. Pick: 8th We have some big if's in the big department Coulibaly, Rabs, and Ryan are the only people on the team taller than 6'6" Last year Coulibaly played 49 minutes in two games, 474 minutes in 32 games for his career. Last year Rabs played 29 minutes in 6 games. 192 minutes in 26 games for his career Ryan has played zero minutes of college ball. By comparison - Batchelder played 1022 minutes last year. As a freshman, he played 50 percent more minutes than these two current seniors combined for their careers. Our "bigs" are not your typical seniors in terms of experience and frankly, health has to be a major question mark for these guys Maybe - hopefully - Rabs and Coulibaly will be healthy and solid contributors. By any fair standard that is less probable than their classmates Montgomery and Octave Hope for the best. Prepare for the worst

As you stated, we played without bigs last year, so while it is an issue, it doesn't bother me today. Worst case to me is we finish 7th and have a play-in game at home.
The first practice is in two weeks, and I believe the team has an open?? practice on the last Saturday of this month. Excited about the future of HC hoops

Of course, last season we finished with a 7-11 PL record, tied with 3 others for 6th. With the tie breakers, we were seeded 9th, I believe.

Gates was special.
Asking a lot to have Kenney or Nugent to play that underneath bruiser role
