Northern Vermont is bringing a dowry of ten gallons of maple syrup. This is an uninspiring schedule compared to HC's. Thanks DP, the turnaround begins.

The BU schedule is awful but at least they are not playing Elms The Elms match up is really a practice and should be a chance to get all the players into "a game". Run all their stuff, a feel good game. Nothing wrong with that IMHO.

Run all their stuff, a feel good game. Nothing wrong with that IMHO. Northern Vermont played Dartmouth last year. I'm glad the Badgers are getting a trip to Boston where they don't roll up the sidewalks at 8pm but there are many D-3 teams like Emmanuel, Emerson, MIT, UMass Boston, Brandeis, Tufts. Lasell that can walk or take the T to Kenmore Square. The Tufts Jumbos would at least give the Terriers a run for their money. Maybe at both HC and BU they really don't want a D-2 or 3, but by the time it is clear they won't be able to schedule a full D-1 slate, it becomes all about matching open dates and not about competitiveness.

Wonder what the spread would be in a Johnson vs Elms matchup?

Maybe Holy Cross is trying to give reparations to all the former women's colleges that sent co-eds to what used to be known back in the day as "mixers". Regis Check Elms (I'm pretty sure) Check Name some of the others.

The late, great College of New Rochelle with their students up for Co-Ed week. Too long a trek for an evening mixer but a week? Perfect.

Co-Ed Week was held in February of 1969.
HC waited for the Class of 1968 to no longer be on Mt.St.James as well.
It was the Class of 1972 they were really worried about, as the first Women students did not arrive until September of 1972. 🤣

There was a big snowstorm during CoEd week in 1969. Some classes were cancelled, but the party went on.

They probably sent them to Yale, Wesleyan and Trinity who all went Coed in the same era as HC did.

St. Joseph's of both West Hartford and Rutland, Vermont were represented at HC mixers. A few colleges that no longer exist include Newton College of the Sacred Heart, Annhurst, Burbank Hospital School of Nursing, St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing.

I believe that ‘Gate is playing Vermont state Castleton, not Johnson That is Castleton's logo on there. They went 3-21 last year and 0-16 in the Little East.
