Our Lasy of the Elms--wow. I believe the school has won 8 total games in the past three seasons. The two tallest players are 6-5 and 6-6. This is not good---maybe a FHCBN arranged game? I think we're trying to corner the market on opponents that were once all-women's colleges. Regis, Colby-Sawyer, now Elms. Several others to be played! Got to get Wheaton and Vassar on the schedule.

Last year the CBSSN game was at 7:00. I wonder what that does do the start of the women's game. Might the game get pushed up so even if there's over time, there will still be the usual 45 minutes between games? Will the Lady Crusaders be tipping off around 10:00 PM Back when double headers were standard in the PL, it was only for the weekend games. Mid week games were held a day apart There's no way they're playing any game at 10PM. First game would have to be at 4 if there is a scheduled tv game at 7. Maybe even 3:45, I'd think the intermission is more likely an hour although with the Blaney gym, stretches, etc. can commence a little early. If this were a regular old fashioned double header, I might see a 4:00 start for the ladies. For a national TV game at 7:00, more like 3:30 for the ladies

Didn't we play and lose to Williams during the Willard era? And was Paulsen the Williams coach at the time??

Having been to opening rounds in the NCAA a few times, I agree the time between games in a given tournament session is shorter than it used to be in the days of double headers at Hart

Williams was NCAA D-3 champion in 02-03 and runner-up in 03-04 Looks like a bunch of us were typing at the same time

Well, that's a clear indication that Paulsen can coach. Those Willard teams were some of our most successful. I'm really optimistic about him building something we can all enjoy for years to come. Let's go Coach Paulsen!!!!

He seems quite sprightly for a 59 year old. Who cares how old he is.

Studies from the American Association of Sports Photographers show that shutter fingers usually give out around age 50 and you are no doubt worried that your digit will be the next to fail.

Coach Paulsen seems more energetically invested in the program than Coach Carmody was. In hindsight, I wonder if the Big 10 coach thought he could coast into retirement at some low major PL school

At 59, Paulsen's 15 years younger than the great and going strong Jim Larranaga (my admiration for whom was not foreseeable when tormented by his great shooting against us at the Aud as a Friar).

I have a distinctly different impression of DP/NAD II. (Non Alum Dave II)

I have a distinctly different impression of DP/NAD II. (Non Alum Dave II) We hired Carmody when he was 63 years old. We knew what we were getting into. The idea was to bring in a stabilizer who would right the ship, following the disappointing trajectory under SK and MB. and then we'd have the program pointed in the right direction after a couple years. Unfortunately, the total opposite took place.
