Our Lasy of the Elms--wow.
I believe the school has won 8 total games in the past three seasons. The two tallest players are 6-5 and 6-6. This is not good---maybe a FHCBN arranged game?

Three real OOC home games and one sacrificial lamb. I noticed it's the same configuration as Colgate's schedule.

Seeing how Elms was last in appearing on the drip by drip schedule, I would think it was arranged by the current staff.
Given how many schools are scheduling non D-1s, I can't get on HC too much. What's weird to me is that there are now more D1 schools than ever before, so I'm confused by this trend of teams playing down a level (or 2 in this case). At least for this year there are games in alum hot spots: Boston, NY, and DC. Hopefully going forward CDP can work on getting some additional attractive games as the program gets stronger.

Kind of an odd league schedule. HC plays 3 teams twice in 14 days and 3 others in 42, 45 and 48 days.

The increase in the number of conference games throughout the country coupled with the endless supply of neutral site "challenges," "tournaments," and "classics" has made scheduling more difficult, especially at the low major level. With 11 OOC games, it is tough to get four D1 home games, especially with three buy games and a mini-tournament.

When is the game vs (Our Lady of the ) Elms?
The graphic above says Dec 30. The website says Dec 29
Last year they played Bucknell that Friday with one of those goofy mid-week afternoon games

I think we're trying to corner the market on opponents that were once all-women's colleges. Regis, Colby-Sawyer, now Elms. Several others to be played!

Does that make it a traditional type game?

Speaking of schedules, per Dave Paulsen's email today, there will be an open practice this Saturday from 10-12 and another on 10-11 from 5-7. The latter will be a scrimmage.

Since parking lots don't open until 10:00, it will give me a great chance to try out the Luth complex defibrillator after I try the sprint from Fitton to Hart

Our Georgetown game is set for 8pm and will be broadcast on FS2 - I have that on my cable but might not be as widely available as FS1

It was mentioned in the women's bball schedule release that we'll be playing doubleheaders vs. BU - Something that is long overdue and a reason for many to venture to Worcester in the winter for 2 games at the Hart. BUT, our dh is on a Monday ! Jan 29 and the dh at BU is on a Sat Mar 2 - Kit, if you're scheduling a dh that's a great idea but please make it happen on a weekend

A lot of times BU games are mid-week. Fewer missed classes than playing Navy mid week.
I just looked at the schedule. Dates are listed, but not times. It will be interesting to see who plays first. Just my own thinking, I'm not sure I would watch a full double header. If the girls play first, I might show up at half time and watch the full mens game. That would be more likely than watching the men early and catching the first half of the women's game.
Hart is a more interesting place to kill 45 minutes between games than the Roof

Last year the CBSSN game was at 7:00. I wonder what that does do the start of the women's game. Might the game get pushed up so even if there's over time, there will still be the usual 45 minutes between games? Will the Lady Crusaders be tipping off around 10:00 PM
Back when double headers were standard in the PL, it was only for the weekend games. Mid week games were held a day apart

Mid week games were held a day apart There's no way they're playing any game at 10PM. First game would have to be at 4 if there is a scheduled tv game at 7. Maybe even 3:45, I'd think the intermission is more likely an hour although with the Blaney gym, stretches, etc. can commence a little early.
