Never thought I would see all but one PL team in the top 100. Georgetown is still competitive and should be "in" most games except Fordham and HC.

The poll from the FCS coaches just released- we drop from 5 to 6 with Sacramento State double jumping and going to 4 after it beat Stanford.
Based on the likely outcomes of future conference games, the top 3 teams for seeding appear to be SDSU, NDSU, and Montana State, although things could change within the Valley and Sky that move seeds around.
The seeds between 4-8 remain uncertain, with about ten teams fighting for the seeds.
No change for HC in the STAT poll

I can get behind Sac State leapfrogging us for beating Stanford. Hope we jump up in November after beating Army.
That being said, HC beat a 30 something ranked team in Yale by a heap. Bill and Mary beat a 60 something ranked team in Charleston Southern by a TD. Come on! If Sac State is 4, we should be 5, with W&M at 6. Perhaps there is still truth to a bias against the PL and the Ivy and in favor of the CAA.

If this isn't absolute proof that no one cares about Ivy football west of the Hudson River than I don't know what is. HC's schedule going forward is very weak. Fordham may or may not move the needle. CAA will always get the benefit of the doubt.

Pretty sure Penn, Princeton, & Cornell are west of the Hudson and I think they care, but maybe not.

In other news, old friend Western Carolina is back in the top 25 after knocking off Samford and Eastern Kentucky.

Amazing that HC is #14 @ 2-1 with an FBS loss and Fordham is #40 @ 2-1 with an FBS win. The half life of the reputation you start the season with lasts the first several weeks but should become irrelevant unless the FCS selection committee lets it effect it's decisions.

Fordham’s loss is to Albany. HC’s is a close loss to BC.
