I really hope these two ladies can find significant PT next season - I'm not sure how this year's frosh are adapting to D.1 ball as they've seen very little time - anyone know how they are doing? Why have we not recruited size for next season as Allen (albeit a small '5') is gone and Berger will be our only center
most of the PL is showing success recruiting size for next year - here's a recap (without knowing the scouting reports) AU - two 6'2" / AWP - two 6'2" / BU - two 6'3" / Bucknell - two 6'1" / Laf - one 6'3" / Leh - one 6'1" / Navy - one 6'2"

"Hope" is not strong enough. "Expect" to see frosh/sophs play the majority of minutes tonight.

It appears that MM has a preference for smaller players. That said I agree they need another bigger big, interesting to see if MM looks to the portal again. Also, they do have Cahalan 6'2 available. Who knows why she hasn't seen the court, but if they hold pat, she certainly will next year.

An interesting question is which coach had the biggest impact on Berger's great leap between Freshman and Sophomore seasons? We haven't seen a similar leap from any player this season so far that I can think of.

We haven't seen a similar leap from any player this season so far that I can think of. Likely self motivation in the off season. She was already blessed with good footwork and passing ability. Reminds me of Kaitlin Foley who made a similar leap.

Size is perhaps hurting them in terms of inside scoring and defense; but as far as rebounding goes, they're doing extremely well (46.1 to 37.4).

At our level, anyone 6’0” or over is probably not going to be great on Day 1. Have to hope you can find the ones who will develop once you get them but it’s an uncertain science to say the least.

Cara's shooting is off at .280/.190/.600. Can the offense be tweaked to help her?

For some reason, both Allen & Berger have found themselves getting into early foul trouble, generally when they are on the floor, they can score. I honestly believe what's killing them is the poor outside shooting. I expect it to improve as the season progresses

I totally agree. That's why I'm a bit suprised MM didn't add a bigger big to this class.

I hope this can continue against stronger teams. Good chance the seniors revert to their career averages so the team appears to be on pace for a good season.

About 1,000 girls get nominated so don’t get too excited—-seen her play—not bad—-not as smooth but a bit similar to BPC as a shooter and with the bulk and inside game of Janelle.— Fits the mold— great demeanor— high hoop IQ.
