Not sure this is the section where this message will get the most views on the board but I just received a notice from ESPN+ that its annual fee will increase from $99.99 to $109.99 effective 10/12/23.

Inflation continues to get worse.
But IMO, ESPN+ is still well worth it for me at that price. At least from September thru February. I cancelled mine after college basketball season last year.
Between college football, college basketball and the NHL, great product. Isn't FloSports 29.99 or something absurd?

Still seems like a real bargain to me.

Flo inflates the monthly charge compared to the annual fee: $29.99/149.99 imo to gouge folks wanting to see one game their beloved team plays against an opponent in a Flo League. Of course she throws in a discount on a Progressive Insurance policy 🙂 but ESPN+ is still a better value.

Is that the same for the Disney/Hulu/ESPN + package; which is a great deal (and if it's another buck a month more, will still be).

Ok lets continue to play non conference football games against the Ivy as opposed to the CAA then.

Ok lets continue to play non conference football games against the Ivy as opposed to the CAA then. Would you estimate Holy Cross or CAA teams have said no more often when approached to schedule a game over the past ten years? I acknowledge TPTB at HC may see games against the IL as more valuable to the overall mission of the college than the State Universities that make up the closest CAA teams. But I also think CAA teams naturally want strong schedules and until Chesney arrived HC didn't do much to move their needle. We have played Albany, UNH, Monmouth (not sure if they were CAA at the time) and have URI scheduled. That possibly is all we could get. If we tried to schedule Villanova, Delaware, William and Mary or Ruchmond in the past ten years I'm not sure any of them would have agreed to a home and home series.
