One thing draws all of us to this message board: our love of Holy Cross and especially its athletic programs. On this Christmas Eve, I cannot help but reflect on this past year with the incredible run the hoop team had in March. Beside that, we've had the loss of Father K; I've had some personal tragedies this year and I know others have also. It made me well aware that life is very short and no one is guaranteed tomorrow. People don't always agree on this board, some may take things too personally, IMO, and I could only imagine the acrimony if politics were included here, given the Trump upset!! But nonetheless, I wish all a Merry Christmas in Crossports nation and hope 2017 is a better year for all.

BTW, the quote under my avatar was Fr. K's written comment to me when he autographed my copy of his book.
I am retaining this quote, along with the picture that I took of him, as my dedication to Fr. K as indeed, he is a high point of the long Purple line. I put him just below Fr. Hart in the pantheon of Holy Cross heroes.

Thank you '81. I could not agree more. I count myself fortunate and blessed to have so many great relationships stemming from Holy Cross. Our common bond is truly special. I thank all those who frequent these parts and/or read this board for adding to the depth of what makes Alma Mater great.
Merry Christmas to all . . . and while I have your attention, LET'S WIN!!

Merry Christmas to all.
With heartfelt wishes for a happy, healthy, and safe new year (that also happens to include our guys and gals dancing)! ;-)
The '43 family.
Cheers.
