At 4-3 and with the way things have gone over the past few weeks I'm shocked HC is in the Top 25. If they end up 8-3 or maybe even 7-4 I could see them in the final standings in the Top 25, but right at this moment - I would place them slightly out of the Top 25.

With BC now 4-3, our 3 pt loss at their place is what's keeping us ranked, imo

We are getting some love in the polls for obvious reasons. We lost to a Power 5 team by a foot one centimeter out of bounds. And we lost to the other best team in the PL by a field goal. Two losses by a total of 6 points. And, I think most people realize that if we played Harvard 10 times, we may win 6 or 7 of those games. We very easily could be 7-1 today. We have some of the best players in all of FCS, and arguably the best player in all of FCS who was also the best player on the field against that Power 5 team (just can't say the name). We have some gaps on defense, but we are a very good team.
There were lots of ranked FCS teams who got upset this past Saturday. Outside of the top 5 teams I think it's a wide open field.

I think our season was jinxed during the 3rd Quarter of the Princeton-Columbia game when one of the Ivy League Friday night ESPNU announcers referred to Holy Cross as "perhaps the best Patriot League team he's ever seen in the history of the league".

I think that was Jack Ford, who is a Yale football alum and was the color commentator for our game against Yale.

Given that Yale was the preseason Ivy favorite and favored to beat us that day, I'm sure it felt like we were the best PL team ever. They were on fire against Yale.

Didnt catch the connection as I was at a family function watching the Yale game on my IPAD so had it on mute. Makes sense!

We are the number one RV in the STATS poll. Just outside the top 25. Laffy in at 21.
Bill and Mary lower than us in Coaches' but just ahead in the STATS.
