I think Paulsen will get us to 20 wins soon but relax the near term expectations He will make sure we are competitive and improve which after the last decade is great

I think Paulsen will get us to 20 wins soon but relax the near term expectations He will make sure we are competitive and improve which after the last decade is great For the record, if by some quirk of fate we have a 20 win season, I'm the single vote for that tier and didn't need a win over GU to pick that it. So, based on that one game, you all want to jump on that bandwagon?

I'll hold at 16 wins right now...but I would be delighted to be wrong if the number was higher!

OOC 4-9 (SHU, IUIPI, Elms, CCSU) PL--8-10 PL Tournament 1-1 13 wins. I think we have three guys we can rely on and a bunch of other guys. Some of the other guys will probably surprise me but some, I am afraid, are just never going to work out because of injuries or other reasons. What is it that they say in the House of Representatives? “I’d like to revise and extend my remarks.” I looked through the predictions. For those who opined separately on the OOC schedule, nobody thought we would only win three. I said 4 wins in the OOC and then thought things were looking up after the Siena and Georgetown games. There have been some ugly looking game since then (as well as a couple where things started to click.) I am still hoping we can get to 8 PL wins.

Other than Colgate, there is no one that we should view as unlikely to be a competitive game. The wildcards could be Lafayette and Lehigh who have abysmal records against D1 opponents but both have played pretty demanding schedules and it appears for the most part, their games have been at least somewhat competitive. I see a lot of tossups and am going with 10 conference wins.

Well, we were wildly optimistic in our predictions, once again. With 10 wins on the year, 6 of 54 participants selected "8 to 10".
85% predicted too high a number of wins 11% predicted the correct "8 to 10". A quick glance at posts did not reveal anyone predicting precisely 10, but I'll have to check more carefully to see if I can find one. Some posters did predict 11. 4% predicted too low a number of wins
I'll check our later poll that asked for predictions of PL Conference wins as we approached conference play
