Their uniforms are so ugly you won't notice. Ayir Asante and his Cowboys do a hell of a lot better job with the color brown than the Mountain Hawks. what happened to the gold helmets and gold pants? As an aside, do Laffy's black jerseys bother anyone? The Leopards block lettering is outlined in white while the numbers are tan. White helmets with the black jerseys?

Justice prevails in Easton! Fordham letting Bucknell hang around. Need the Rams to close this out so they go to Lafayette next week with something to play for. Hey, a winnah here (not very much bet, believe me)! Took the Bison and 18.5 points. Had a feeling Fordham was going to be down after blowing the HC game.

Any college that gives up their primary color to wear black; other than a one-off; bothers me.

We can blame that turnover on downs on the foolish decision to do a wide receiver screen on 2nd and 3, which was brought back due to holding. Zero reason to get cute. We did. I hate those wide receiver screens, rarely gain good yardage, throw the dang ball vertically! I wasn't able to view Live Stats today but noticed posters commenting once again about the questionable offensive play calls, defensive lapses and special teams frustrations. Team has regressed since Harvard. Afraid what Army will do to our sieve like D.

Colgate wins in OT, 37-34. And just like that, I feel the Earth has moved under our feet! Colgate is my new second favorite team.

The sieve wasn't so sieve-like today, given all the other breakdowns (3 turnovers, penalties that cut drives short, 3 baaaaad special teams plays, coaching brain-farts (91 being sent in late to cause a TMMOTF penalty)).

Agreed, while not great, I felt like the D found their footing a bit earlier than normal today. I thought they settled down pretty well and did a decent job with the hand they were given.

Our d looked the best it has in a while. Holding them to just over the century mark passing is an accomplishment for our young secondary.

Back from an enjoyable day in the Lehigh Valley. It's always a pleasure to come to Goodman stadium with its excellent sight lines, natural turf, the beautiful hills in the background and the Marching 97. My ticket, at the sr. citizens price, was $10. No parking fee. Sparse crowd on the Lehigh side. Just a gritty performance by the Crusaders. Sluka coming in off the bench for two key and successful plays. Offensive line seemed to wear down the Mountain Hawks in the 4th quarter just as the sun finally came out. Defense came to life. What an amazing catch by Coker on his second TD. That has to make Sportscenter to 10 plays. Classy move by BC at the end. An informed source told me that Dobbs has a shoulder injury. I did not see him on the sidelines. Hoping that he is back next week. Onward to West Point.

Sam Herder Holy Cross beats Lehigh 28-24, doing so without its 2 best players in Sluka and Dobbs. HC is now 6-3 overall. #FCS

I assume the same sentiment was communicated to HC players by HC coaches after the BC game. I felt HC was the best team on the field in Chesnut Hill myself.

Compared to Network telecasts, ESPN+/Patriot League local productions do not feature camera shots of the band or utilize a dedicated microphone to pick up the sound of the band at full volume when they play. It's a 3+ hour show and hearing a good band clearly would enhance it. The announcers drone on enough.

I thought they settled down pretty well and did a decent job with the hand they were given. our rush defense, particularly our right side was very porous. They successfully ran the same couple of plays there most of the game. The D might have been dealt a tough hand by the O early, but they certainly didn't stop much. The defense did play better later and I think some of the personnel changes at LB and the defensive backfield were a big reason why. Fuller and the O-line were awesome.

Helps that Lehigh's offense downright stinks. In his post-game comments Lehigh's coach said he told his guys that they were the better team. That was definitely true for the first 5 min. For the other 55 minutes. we won 28-10 and would have been 35-10 if we didn’t take a knee when we easily could have scored again at the end. And we didn’t have our two best players.

He also said (paraphrasing)--change four plays this season and we're undefeated in the PL. This guy's a bit clueless.

At least Hafley's comment about his team should have gotten 5-6 yards every carry has proven during the rest of the season to be fairly accurate....BC runs the ball well and HC's had problems stopping it.

I still laugh about a post game interview during the LLWS when a player said that his team would have won except for that inning where they gave up eight runs. Of course, that was a 12 year old.

And I'd be the starting point guard for the Celtics except that I'm old, short, and have no talent.
