Final CU 85-55. CU finish 4th on a 30-4 run. BU was very competetive thru the first 3 qtrs, appears CU coach lit a fire on the bench after the 3rd.

Well, let's say 'since we played UConn' (how many years ago was that?) BU more than holding their own - down 39-38 mid 3rd period - we were never that close in any game vs. the Huskies The last time UConn played Holy Cross was November 13th, 2011 so 13 years ago now.

Maine playing no.17 Indiana tonight in Bangor - tied 54 all with 5 minutes left - Black Bears star Anne Simon has 32 pts (I guess HC could never play a game like this at the DCU)

Well, maybe, clearly this was a game scheduled to give Indiana star Mackenzie Holmes from Gorham, Me. an opportunity to play in front of the "hometown" fans. She lead them in scoring with 22 pts in their 67-59 win over Maine.

Maine’s Simon had 34 on 12 of 24 shooting. If we wanted don’t you think we could find a Mass. native playing in a power conference and arrange for that team to play HC ? If there’s a will there’s a way.

Hence, my maybe. But, if you got a kid from Maine or Vermont, there's only one option for the P5 team. A Mass kid, P5 flys into Boston, stays at the airport & can play BC, Northeastern, Harvard. I suspect if HC can get the rating into the low 100's or lower, it could happen.

Here are some of the OOC teams Holy Cross WBB played in the 2004-5 season: Home vs Providence, UMass, Buffalo, BC and at UConn, Duke, St. John's, DuPaul, and finally Ohio State in the NCAA Tournament. The other usual OOC suspects didn't include any cupcakes like Connecticut College. I think it was easier twenty years ago because WBB was still growing from minor to major sport. Congratulations to the Black Bears.

Congratulations to the Black Bears. It’s an impressive list, but you areright that the landscape was quite different. For example, both Buffalo and Providence were among the absolute worst teams in the nation. They would have struggled to not finish last in the patriot league. And UMass wasn’t particularly strong. But a lot of the others were impressive names at that time.

Another bad night for the league BU loses at home to St Joe’s ( coached by our Hannah Griffin’s mom) 62-47 Colgate loses at home to Georgetown 61-40 ( why isn’t GU playing at HC occasionally?) Bucknell lost at Mt St Mary’s by 11

Bucknell lost at Mt St Mary’s by 11 The most surprising result is the Bucknell loss IMO. At 2-7 they are in a tough spot. Losing to MSM is not good. Hopefully Bison137 gives us the breakdown.

Loyola continues the run, losing to Bryant 63-54, favored by 6, lose by 9. The league is certainly struggling thru the OOC play.

Another bad night for the league Laf was wiped out in South Bend logically but AWP, AU and Loyola all lost winnable games - things are really deteriorating

If the league is down, our chances of returning to the Dance are up. If we win our league and play in the Dance regularly, our recruiting should improve.

Everyone knows Magarity can’t win with her own players so I’m sure any future trips to the Dance would be discounted as flukes.

At the half, Lehigh thumping 50-23. A bit of a surprise, as LU only favored by 3 in this one.

Not much to conclude by this game’s result - still very concerned about McCormack’s offensive struggles - she’s not a great ball handler so she has to shoot more efficiently going forward - Quinnipiac is not up to their usual standards this season so Sunday’s game is very winnable

Megan Gebbia (former AU coach) is in her 2nd season at Wake Forest and really struggling - now 2-7 against a weak ooc schedule after losing tonight at home vs Charlotte by 11. With inherited players last year she finished a bit over .500.

Quinnipac seems to be in rebuilding mode this season, hope its a good game.

BU 80- Harvard 77. BU hangs on, lead for most of the game, by as much as 12, coughed it all up in the 4th, by came back late after some bad HU turnovers in the last 2 mins. NOTE: Harvard was missing their leading scorer, Harmoni Turner (20 pts/game), now out for the season with a knee injury.

Another bagel today in the OOC 0-4 Lehigh scored 70 pts in the 1st 3 qtrs and led Pitt by 6 - but faltered in the 4th and lost by 12 AU lost to Towson - Loyola lost by 30 at Toledo
Even with BPC I’d rate HC behind BU and Lehigh as we approach the end of OOC play
