The.NBA drafts on potential. The younger, the better. And if they have size and mobility, best. Clingan has those qualities. Even as a backup last season, he would have been drafted.

Here’s a player to watch : Reed Sheppard is a freshman at UK having a tremendous first season. Check KenPom’s stats. He is son of Jeff Sheppard who I believe was Final Four MVP 20 or so years ago for UK. Mother is one of UK’s all-time leading scorers.
He may be overshadowing DJ Wagner, UK freshman who was among most sought after recruits in USA. Wagner is grandson of Milt Wagner of U of l and NBA and his father Dajuan played 1 year at Memphis before going NBA.

Catch & shoot to tie the game took .3 seconds, impressive. The flop was well done also As was the 4 step shuffle on dead ball OOB which was completely whiffed on by ref

FWIW, ESPN’s latest draft ranking, which came out today, has Clingan moving up to the sixth spot overall. I just don't know. Do NBA teams use lottery picks on guys who have absolutely no ability to shoot from the perimeter? He is a dominating college player who will continue to improve around the basket offensively and will be a defensive beast. Maybe that's enough. I want Clingan to succeed because he is a Connecticut kid who said no to the private schools and no to reclassifying. He graduated in four years from his local public high school (that his late mother also attended) where he led a bunch of kids he probably had been playing with since elementary school to three state championships and then went to his home state university. I like everything about the story. I agree with you...the nba game right now is based on the perimeter play

Princeton beats a good Drexel team 81-70 tonight at Jadwin to move to 9-0. This is the third CAA to lose to the Tigers.

Rhody loses to Brown and Fordham loses to NJIT. Not sure which message board is more negative since the defeats. It might be a tie.

Would have to assume that if Georgetown has a message board that these other two wouldn't come close after the Hoyas lost to the Crusaders.

Army up by 10 at Harvard early 2nd half. Harvard pulled away down the stretch to win by six. Malik Mack hit a huge three with the Crimson only up two with about a minute to go. Super freshman. Doubt he'll be there very long.

AU holds off VMI by eight for our first road win of the season. To paraphrase the philosopher Derrick D. Coleman, whoopty-damn-do. But we'll take it.

In one of the starkest examples of crazy scores, a mediocre Northwestern team upset no. 2 (?) Purdue last week and followed that up by losing to Chicago St. (RPI 340’ish ?) this week
