Hate to say it but feels like our BC game. Feel badly for Laffy. Montana is gonna absolutely smoke Delaware.

Troxell totally out coached in the second half Troxell should be fired tomorrow for not immediately going to Ah Shaun Davis after DeNobile went down.

What a way to lose. Delaware out coached Lafayette and the Laffy defense, who looked like they could stop Oregon in the first half, couldn't stop a Pop Warner team in the second half. Talking FCS heads will say the Pathetic League loses to the Champion Athletic Association.

Terrible ending for Lafayette and the PL. A very winnable game for the Leopards but, like Holy Cross in too many games this year, comes up short.

At least the era of first round clobberings of the PL rep may be over.

CAA goes 2-0 for the day. Next round UA and Villanova.
Laffy had a good first half - 4 turnovers in their favor. But couldn't hang on against a transformed 3rd string frosh Delaware QB in the second half.
Nice interview with Carty after the game.

The moral of this story is that these CAA teams are good but beatable....they aren't that good

Richmond pulled away 49-27 We would've beaten either of those teams by multiple scores.

The moral of this story is that these CAA teams are good but beatable....they aren't that good Especially when they are using their freshman 3rd string QB. That said, it was a shame that Denobile went down. He was really moving the team. By the way, according to the announcers he is a walk on who earned the starting position.

Not impressed with these CAA teams. The Crusaders would definitely hold our own in that league. MHO!

From what I watched during U Mass and U Conn they both need to join the FCS.

Coming back from 28-7 is pretty impressive no matter who the foe. So, kudos to Delaware. And Richmond had a nice comeback of their own. That may be the CAA story this weekend. Certainly cements the notion they were deserving of the four team selection.

The moral of this story is that these CAA teams are good but beatable....they aren't that good The only reason Lafayette was even in that game was the third string QB at Delaware playing and they still lost.

Not really....LC moved the ball pretty effectively all game....particularly when their starting QB was in the game.....Laffy also lost their stud TE early in the game which hurt them.

Do you really understand sports or just like to have your voice hears- - a question and not a criticism as I want to get a sense of your thinking Delaware who finished in fourth place in the CAA had a freshman QB (also third stringer) in his first career start throw three INT's and they still beat the Patriot League champion. Just shows you the depth of the CAA squads compared to the Patriot League.

Not really....LC moved the ball pretty effectively all game....particularly when their starting QB was in the game.....Laffy also lost their stud TE early in the game which hurt them. Delaware scored a TD on three out of five real drives in the second half and kicked a FG on the other one. It seems to me that Lafayette couldn't handle the physical beating they were getting from the bigger and stronger CAA squad even though Lafayette was given a gift by playing a third string freshman QB who had a HORRIFIC first half and still couldn't get that W.
