Laffy had a very good defense this year but Sluka ran for 300+ on them. Delaware did a great job of being physical inside and wearing down the D. They were also on the field a lot with the Laffy offense injured. I think if DeNobile stays healthy they probably win a close one.

Someone's still salty from UNH's beatdown last year at Fitton....

Agreed! I was there so many turnovers and mistakes! did you invite them to join a new conference with us? Conference Roulette never gets old.😅

Someone's still salty from UNH's beatdown last year at Fitton.... Why would I care? UNH is a soccer school only hosting Clemson tomorrow and have sold out of Luxury box seats. How many luxury box seats did Holy Cross sell this year for home football games?

Did you watch the game? Probably not so you’re just looking at the score? You can’t be bothered to watch PL football games. I didn’t know the CAA was the SEC? I am sure Montana is nervous. We don’t need Luxury boxes we have more fans than any college team you root for. We also live rent free in your head.

The moral of this story is that these CAA teams are good but beatable....they aren't that good Especially when they are using their freshman 3rd string QB. That said, it was a shame that Denobile went down. He was really moving the team. By the way, according to the announcers he is a walk on who earned the starting position. Then lets start scheduling of a few of them....Bryant on the schedule next year Really ??

Delaware is going to lose by 3+ TD's to Montana Yes, that injury-riddled Delaware lineup that beat Lafayette is not coming close to beating Montana. As just one small example, imagine us playing Montana with our 3rd string QB (whoever that is)… we’re not winning.

The more I think about it, the more salty I get about HC being excluded from the FCS playoffs this year. It is what is, but is our margin of error so slim that by losing 2 games to relatively decent FBS teams by 3 (who both have good FBS wins this year), losing to the PL champ by 3 and losing to a tri-Ivy champ on a neutral field so damning? We beat a tri-Ivy champ on the road, held service against everyone else and were co-league champs ourselves. On top of that, we are coming off 2 pretty successful FCS playoff years,,,.beating SHU and nearly winning against Villanova in 2021 and being seeded and beating UNH at home and playing eventual champ SDSU tougher than anyone in the field last year. Not that it should factor in but we also have 3 of the most dynamic players in all of FCS. My gripe is that HC and its 5th year Sr class should have been given the opportunity to play in the FCS playoffs one more time moreso than the 6th or 4th place teams out of the MVFC and CAA respectively. And with that, I'll shut up about this until 2024.

I know I have said this before but I think our issue wasn’t the point differential or SOS, but it is about we play football in New England We are members of the PL We didn’t beat an FBS team We didn’t have a win vs a ranked FCS when we played It is a division led and influenced by the valley and sky conferences

No.....an inexperienced play-off team threw up on themselves after taking a big lead and should have won that game relatively easily. Laffy was hobbled as well, losing its QB and TE. HC wins that game yesterday somewhere in the manner of 35-21 imo. The thing is, I'm really not a huge "playoff guy" but fair is fair and HC was hosed by the committee imo.

Justified or not, I'm also finding myself going through the "anger" stage of not making the playoffs.

Right up there with 5th years don't matter and 'Nova and W&M would love to join the PL. Lafayette choking away a huge lead is another brick in the PL stinks wall. And yes I agree....HC did get screwed. They were the best team in the PL.

And yes I agree....HC did get screwed. They were the best team in the PL. Gotta agree. Saying we should be in the FCS playoffs (even though we lost to both Lafayette and Harvard at our house) because our best win is a win over an Ivy League tri-champ is much more likely to get snickers than it is to get votes. Or folks will think you are kidding. PL looks bad when their auto-bid blows a 28-7 lead to lose to a hobbled Delaware squad in round 1 of the playoffs. Actually, it reaffirms the committee's judgment vis-à-vis the PL this year.

Win the conference outright and we are good to go, as 2 PL teams only make it if the second team is 9-2 or goes 8-3 with an FBS win
I refer you to Haslem’s comment that he voted that an 11-0 Holy Cross did not deserve a seed. That mob from the power conferences want their teams to get the seeds and home games, and the beat goes on next year

(In the same way Richmond's performance helped the CAA by proving the "CAA should be three bids this year " folks were dead wrong.)

Is it time to remove the committee and use a computer ranking like the FBS had with a BCS system? Or committee ranks seeds?
I like how bowls pick their teams. You have tie-ins and then the bowl picks the next best (like ACC #3 vs AAC #2) and those who will put fannies in the seats and help the bottom line. After looking at the crowd vs BC and Army, it would be an attractive get for a bowl.
