Always appeared taller than that to me!

I definitely thought he'd be closer to like 6' 1.5" or so. Him being under 6'1 was a little surprising, but the hand/arm/wingspan all look real nice. The few people he was behind in arm size and wingspan all had a couple of inches of height on him

Had to re-read this to realize that he is essentially 6'1." Having chatted with him a couple or three times, I would have thought a solid 6'2" and maybe taller. But, since I'm shrinking, that probably just changes my perspective. But, while I'm too lazy to look it up, doesn't Jalen have some superhuman vertical leap? That'll make up for his perceived 1" or 2" loss of height.

I think the pros measure their prospects without socks to determine one’s exact height - you’ll see Sluka and Dobbs losing an inch or two at the next level

Jalen going from HC roster 6-3 to just under 6-1 is interesting. Sluka is also listed at 6-3 on the HC roster.

Those 2 inches lowering Coker's height is not going to help him and that's an understatement - he better be darn good in the pro day workouts or he'll be looking at a Free Agent status for the NFL

Maybe he wears lifts?😉

His vertical, hand and arm size, and catch abilities will play just fine at the next level. Speed and agility are going to be the keys for Jalen.

Anybody see Coker's post on Instagram? It's a video clip of him catching a pass during practice for the Hula Bowl. One handed....like he had super glue on his hands. Awesome.

It's now making the rounds on Twitter as well. Apparently he has an in-game athleticism score of 99.5 (I believe out of 100 but don't quote me on that, I didn't look too deeply into how it's derived). Also someone replied to the clip saying they heard Jalen turned down some big offers to enter the portal. I don't think that last bit would surprise anyone, but I do think it's interesting to note. I think Jalen easily could have found some playing time at a P4 school. Now I'm just hoping he winds up in my NY Giants.

Although obviously not my favorite game, one of Jalen's catches that I'll never forget was one in the 2023 Harvard game. He caught it, turned on the jets while holding the ball in one hand with his nose for the end zone. Touchdown. I mean, he should clearly protect the ball better but that looked pretty bad ass.

One projected draft has both Jalen and CJ Hanson being drafted in the 5th round. Jalen by Minnesota and CJ by the Lions. That’s fantastic.

I didn't realize CJ was so highly regarded. That's great. He’s so regarded that he just got invited to the east west shrine game in a couple of weeks. He must really be impressing the scouts to get a late invite to the shrine game. Next move would be a combine invitation. Bodes well for HC football.

So if I am reading this exchange correctly, both Jalen and CJ are going to the East-West Shrine Bowl ? Correct ?
