Great pitching by the freshmen Skrobe. Great hitting and outstanding defense in clutch situations.

First win over a top 25 team since Miss State? Was Nebraska top 25 when we beat them in the NCAA Tournament? Didn’t we beat Oregon State in the NCAA tourney ? Unsure of the year.

Was Oregon State #1 then ? Yes, but it was a close game from what I recall.

Great pitching by the freshmen Skrobe. Great hitting and outstanding defense in clutch situations. The only part of the game I was able to watch was the bottom of the 4th when Skrobe was pitching. He was poised and impressive, struck out two.

That was an impressive gutsy win. The bats are producing up and down the line up and Scanlon came through in a clutch spot, after a tough day at the plate. Exactly what you expect from your Jr. leader. KState must be shell shocked 2 games in a row and they cannot slow down HC. Skrobe looked like a competitor on the mound, which we really lack across the rest of the staff early on. It is going to be hard to win, if you allow 10+ runs to the opponent, so that needs to be corrected. The boys should be proud and happy. Clearly KState is dropping way out of top 25 on Monday. Let's hope team's don't figure out that they really need to pitch around Scanlon and Toomey.

The announcers for game three just stated it is a game between the Ivy League and the Big 12.
On Friday one of them stated that Holy Cross was just outside of NYC.
Sheesh! The need a real update on the HC Bio.
They now got it correct with the intro of Sean Scanlon. Someone must have given them an update.

I guess they don't watch any HC games on the Hart Center court.....

While Scanlon was at bat in the 3rd, while swinging at a pitch, ball was off his left arm. Injury was to the extend he had to be removed from the game. HC trainer looked at the injury and determine the extent of the injury.

HC trainer looked at the injury and determine the extent of the injury. Don't understand why that wasn't a hit by pitch. Hardly a swing, looked to me like he was trying to get out of the way. Ball hit his left arm

HC played well, but not quite able to pull this out. A one run loss (5-4) to a ranked team is not terrible...but it is not a win.

Lose 5-4 A Shame that the one game we get strong pitching, the usually reliable bats fail
